Mansion Hill Inn

Beautiful 1857 mansion. Our room was on entry level so no need to go up steep spiral stairs. Staff especially Adam and Elliott but really all staff were extremely friendly courteous and helpful. Location was short walk from lake, parks, capitol building and Main Street. Valet car service was always prompt. Room and common areas were very clean. Bed was quite comfy. Facility was quiet. Not much closet nightstand or desk space, or counter space in bathroom. (1857 building). For such a wonderful building the breakfast was disappointing. A few pastries, some lox, yogurt, granola, apples/oranges, coffee/tea. Get there late and the lox or the pastries were gone. Juice was kept in fridge out of view and also tended to run out. We’ve stayed at smaller more out of the way places with absolutely wonderful cooked breakfasts that cost much less.

Highly recommend! I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional

Staff was amazing, very friendly, attentive, and professional. The building, rooms, and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. For those with mobility issues, several of the rooms require a rather steep climb up one or two flights of stairs.

Delightful place, what takes it over the top was the charming and helpful staff: absolutely perfect.

Superb

Fantastic friendly and efficient service. Absolutely spotless room. Lovely Occitane toiletries, luxurious bathrooms, and a huge bathroom. Cookies baked every evening. Incredible service. Suite 9 was perfect for a couple + kid.

Mansion Hill Inn is fantastic! We were there for a lovely spring weekend in Madison and everything was as smooth as it could be. The place is beautiful, lovingly restored old home. Our room was fabulous, we especially appreciated the large bathroom and wonderful shower. Super friendly staff that were always available and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again

Everyone was amazing and friendly got to have a nice. They even accommodated me with an early check in and were all ready to help me even carry my bag up to my room on the top floor. Was very peacful and relaxing get away for my birthday. Even started my morning with a nice conversation with Adam over some breakfast and coffee to start my morning. All in all very impressed. I usually don't do luxury things like this for myself so was all new to me from the top tier service to the fancy drinks at the cozy bar. I also liked how when I askeed somthing as simple as where a good place to get a burger would be they didn't look at me odd and gave a great recommendation to check out Dotty's. In short I would definitely come back again.

Amazing as usual!!! Staff is a perfect combination of friendly, helpful, & professional. Thank you for the memories.

Really attentive and kind staff, great room, and the breakfast was incredible!

The staff was wonderfully attentive and the room comfortable and well appointed. We would certainly stay again if looking for a luxurious getaway in Madison!

The property, staff, and accommodations all exceeded our expectations!!!

Historic, owned by the Trek bike company, awesome lounge and bar area, tons of character Single pane windows create minor drafts

Just Excellent! Thank you!

Staff was super courteous, and embodied the spirit of hospitality! Felt at home very quickly and the place was neat and tidy. The food and beverage for the continental breakfast were of high quality and appreciated.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to return
