Location very good, room is nice AC not working properly and had to change two rooms because of that. Housekeeping needs more attention

I loved that it wasn’t just a tight room but a spacious floor plan and that mini kitchenette was very useful. Lift went off function and this was not announced to the guests- i was staying in front of the lift 10 min trying to understand what happens. The staircase door has a note that emergency alarm will be triggered if the door is open so I wasn’t confident to use that either - reception wasn’t picking up the call, it was just frustrated. Then they casually said it hoes under maintenance - why was this not announced then to the guests. It didn’t work for quite a while so I did cardio up and down for 6 floors. I found that quite disrespectful towards the guests.

The staff were exceptionally helpful with every request. Adjusting temperature in the room is difficult with thermostat, so the room was rather warm even at night.

Windows are sound proof. Not the best views, but if you come here it because you are not sitting on the balcony wandering around. Resort Fee and Valet are two additional costs to consider. At the time of this writing, they are about $50, and $40 each, respectively. Don't be surprised that you are getting reamed by a boutique hotel in Miami. Views are not terrible. Take advantage of the sunrise, when the pool is empty. Simple Hotel, nothing much to it.

The area is very quiet. The staff is very helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable

Property is misleading in their wording. Please be aware that none of the rooms are beach view. Although my room stated “Oceanside” it was not. The hotel is across the street from the hotels that are on the ocean side. I was charged a $57 late fee after requesting a later checkout. The front desk attendant stated they could not offer it but the hotel was not even at full capacity. I had already been mislead by the room wording of "Oceanside" and had to go all the way down stairs because the phone in the room did not work. The toilet wasn't also flushing properly and the safe in the room battery was dying so I didn't use it because I didn't want my items getting stuck so I had to leave my purse and other valuables hope no one would bother it. The shower needs a deep cleaning around the wall area. I overlooked all of this and was also inconvenienced but when it came to the late checkout, I was immediately charged. I am a long standing Marriott Bonvoy member and was trying out a new hotel and this hotel made sure they did not gain my business by being greedy. In all of my years, I've never been charged a late fee at Marriott and will definitely make sure I don't try out something new due to this experience.

Lovely design, Beach is very Close Nothing

Our three-day stay at 6080 Design Hotel was great overall, starting with a room that was clean, nice, and spacious enough that we never felt like we were hovering over each other. The location couldn't have been better, putting us just a quick three-minute walk from the beach and within easy walking distance of local shops and dining. We also discovered a huge bonus: the free local trolley right nearby, which made exploring further out completely hassle-free. The only downside to our stay was the tiny rooftop pool, which crowded up quickly with just six couples up there in the evening, but everything else about the experience was wonderful.
