Scottish Inns - Middletown

The property was very sketchy. There was a lot of trash and items all around outside of the rooms. There were shady people hanging around outside late at night. The room itself had peeling walls and stains. I left after about 10 minutes as I didn't feel safe spending the night there.

The only positive experience was the ease of check-in and the available free wifi. And the location was convenient to my direction of travel. And in general, noise was not excessive. I was highly disappointed with the objectionable smell of the room. Further, the mattress was visibly sagging and in need of replacement. There were gaps between the door and the frame, which allowed insects to enter. Also, the window treatments were insufficient to exclude exterior lighting from entering the room. Lastly, the photos available online do not reflect the deplorable conditions of the room; they are likely edited or taken from another lodging.

front desk clerk was so mean at checkin time.please fire them, not helpful and so so so mean. can't even speak English clearly(night shift) Indian one. as soon as we walking the lobby smell so bad and stay was so bad rooms maintained so poorly

A live bedbug was found right in the middle of the bed upon lifting the bedsheet. Additionally, the toilet was malfunctioning and did not flush well. Arriving late at night left no choice but to stay despite these unacceptable conditions. Highly disappointing stay.

The price It was dirty and it stunk like cat piss. Bathrooms didn’t shut and the shower ceiling would leak black stuff, felt like being at a trailer park

Not too much The bathroom very small siting on the toilet you face is just about in your face. Bathroom sink is falling apart from the water from the shower. I really would not recommend this place.

Great WIFI. Clean rooms. Quiet! Staff was ok. Air conditioning was great. We slept comfortably. It was almost rural and we were next to a corn field and in front of a farm so there were many flies but it was a great stay.

Booked a smoking room. Got a nonsmoking room. The door was damaged bad half inch gap. The room full of flies and no coffee pot. Would not stay there again. Also charged me 20.00 to check in early but when I asked about checking in early I was not told about a charge.

the floor is slippery and feels like oil on the ground,beddings are washed but a bit wet. Maybe it’s for this price

Stayed there because we were going to a concert at Hershey Park, room was a little small but clean. It was a great place to spend the night after the show, only problem was that we didn't arrive back at the motel until around 11:30,and the room with the ice machine was locked. Other than that, a good place to see events in Hershey and come back to sleep at a very reasonable price for a Saturday night stay

Room looked like it was either in the middle of repairs or sure does need it. It's possible the whole place is under renovation. There was a pile of lumber outside one of the rooms. Could not get TV to work. Did not call office because we were not going to be there too long but would've been nice to just turn on.

Close to airport There were mice, property is run down and dirty

Easy outside entrance. AC was cold! Floors rotten and sponge. Leaning so bad the dresser drawers hung open no matter how many times you shut them. Dirty black shit all over the floors.
