Hyatt Place Munster

👍 place to stay, staff was nice

Great staff and experience

The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. The bed linens were fresh. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The little potatoes at breakfast were delicious. The check-in and checkout times were generous!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and bedding was clean as well. It was a lot of space in the room and the bathroom was also clean.

The hotel is modern and has ample parking. Everything is very clean. The room was excellent and the shower was phenomenal. No hot tub, no microwave in room.

Bad

Checked into room and there was no TV on the wall went back downstairs explained to them there was no TV. They told me that they could give me a room with the television, but it would not have operating air-conditioning. Ultimately, they found one room that had both. About 20 minutes after watching television the television kept going on and off. It was a real problem. I called the front desk. They said their maintenance man has been gone for the day.

Everything!! Very friendly ! Clean and spacious.

Staff was nice, room was clean. Easy access in and out of hotel. Great location. Everything we furnished in our room. We did have to go down to front desk for more towels. Would have been nice to have them delivered to the room as I don't get around as well but my friend went down for me, other then that Everything was great

Booked a room here in August. When we got to to the hotel, they told us there was no air. Offered to refund our money - we took them up on that offer because we had to find a new hotels. They did not refund our full amount. I’ve been trying to resolve for weeks with no luck. Frustrating.

The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is because approximately half of the rooms were without A/C during our stay. Unfortunately, the first night we did not have A/C due to the major storms affecting Illinois and Indiana, which was completely out of the hotel’s control. Our room reached about 86 degrees, but the staff did their best to make us comfortable and brought us three fans for the night. The following day, once a guest checked out of a room with working A/C, the staff moved us to that room. Despite the circumstances, I really appreciated how accommodating and helpful the staff was. They worked with us to find a solution rather than leaving us to deal with the heat. Overall, the situation was frustrating, but the hotel staff handled it as well as they could given the circumstances. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great hotel with spacious rooms, plenty of parking, and an amazing staff. The breakfast is tasty, and the bar is a nice addition. While it is a bit far from downtown Chicago, it remains a convenient option if you plan to visit both Illinois and Indiana. The only downside is the lack of a full-service restaurant, as dining options are currently limited to cold sandwiches.

Paid an outrageous amount of money to sleep with a fan and no support conditioning and no one offering solutions or trying to make it right. Do NOT stay here.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was good.

Staff was very nice and helps. Nice & clean

SEEMS TO BE LESS SMALL ITEMS AKA LOTION, SHOWER CAPS, DAILY CLEANING

Very good

Superb

The air conditioning was not working during the night of our stay, which made the experience uncomfortable. I also feel there could have been better communication from the hotel prior to my arrival, especially regarding any issues with the room or air conditioning.

Nice, clean. They didn’t have ac in 80 degree weather. Due to the storm. I didn’t find out until I got there and it was too late to cancel.
