Very enjoyable and quiet!

The room we stayed in was remodeled and wonderful. We had an Oceanview and the resort was close to many things. The beds were very comfortable and the coffee was great. We will stay again.

The young lady when we checked was really nice and helpful. The gentleman wasn't friendly at all. The breakfast was decent. Now the room quite a few cosmetic issues. But what got me was the red paint or whatever it was in the bathroom. The carpet was disgusting. The water in the hot tub looked dirty. Next, you could smell the dust which tells you that they only do a surface clean. They clean in between the beds and nightstands. It's an older hotel with old furniture. It's a place to stay for a night a 2 but I wouldn't recommend staying a week there. The beds are also very uncomfortable.

Everything was great the only thing I would say is that everything is kind of separated for example the breakfast is across the street and then you have to walk the entire parking lot and the pools were great just wish it was all a little bit closer to each other but other than that the place is amazing

I've been visiting the Dayton house since I was 14 years old and I am now 67. It is my favorite hotel in Myrtle Beach and the only one I will stay in. It is so convenient to get to everything on the property I like it more when the Yellow Umbrella Bar and Grill is open but wrong time of the week for me this trip. Just so you know the food is amazing, great personal pizzas and french fries! The drinks are awesome and the staff is fantastic. The infinity pool is amazing for adults but especially for children so that they don't have to get in the deep water at all if they don't want to. Hot tubs are great. The beds were new in my room and they were fantastic I slept like a baby. I will always think of the Dayton House as my home away from home and I'm so happy that the Thomas family is still running the resort. 66 years and still going strong!!!

Pool and the hot tub were very nice. The rooms were nice for the price point overall, good stay.

This was by far the best family vacation we’ve had with our children! We originally planned to go to Panama City beach but due to the hurricane we decided to come here. I’m so glad we did! Everything about this place was amazing! The entire staff were incredible! I cannot give them enough stars! Breakfast was 10/10!

Although construction is happening area was still clean and quiet. Daily free breakfast is amazing. Pools are convenient. I do feel the food/bar should be open starting in April although considered off season

The hotel was clean. There were no issues at all except you could hear all of the traffic going by even though we were on the 14th floor. Housekeeping was always helpful. Breakfast was good but you do have to get there early or the line/wait is terrible

I wish there had been a desk in the room. Perhaps I didn’t look at the description and pictures thoroughly. There was a really rude employee. He’s Black, short beard, had a whole mouthful to say based on bad relationship with a down low man.

We stayed 4 nights and five days. Everything was excellent but one of the elevators were not in service but they fixed it the day before we left.

We liked staying at the property. There were 3 different hotels with different amenities to use. I gave it a 4 because they actually gave my reservation to someone else. They kept saying they couldn't find mine so it took a while to get checked in. The room we did end up in was decent. Nothing bad to note.
