Older hotel great location . Needs some love

Really enjoyed my stay at Mystic Sea Resort! The hotel manager was extremely nice!! the service staff excellent! I loved his dogs!! Will definitely be staying there in the future! Thank you very much!!

The room was well kept

No ice,no coffee.Cold pool.T.v.kept buffering.Nice owner.Many feral cats all over.Owner feeds them,not good.Would not encourage you to stay here.Find better .

Pricing is very good and rooms are clean and location is right on the beach Parking is limited

Friendly front office, beach front for price Dog friendly For the saying you get what you pay for, yes it’s older but any research tells you that but room was as good as most for a decent price Mrytle beach atmosphere overall just different since last time visited couple years ago. So can’t knock the atmosphere at hotel but just to be aware of can give some unsettling vibes. Cats are roaming but that kinda goes with many areas and part of the said atmosphere

Staff was kind but we got there late and office was closed. Had to wake up the owner and was never texted room number or key code as they promised. Door was opened by manager and since we didn't have key code, couldn't leave room or would get locked out. Good location on beach, but room smelled like weed. Had to spray Fabreze and Lysol throughout. Would have left except we were tired and it was after 11 pm. Seedy characters hanging around motel also. Was afraid to go out at night.

Eramos un grupo grande por ende nos dieron varios cuartos, en todos habían cucarachas, el cuarto tenia un olor terrible, se veía sucio desde el exterior. Hasta la piscina estaba sucia. Definitivamente nada que ver con lo que se ve en las fotos. Nunca volvería ahi, no lo recomiendo.

Staff was friendly and everything was good

The owner was so kind!!! The room where I stayed had paper walls. It was just like the other family was in the room with us. First family yelling at her kids & her kiddos trying to get through the connecting door. Second family spouses fighting. Didn’t complain.

I was able to pay my security deposit in cash.

What breakfast? Did not like anything about this facility? Would not recommend it to anyone. If you were going to stay in Myrtle Beach find some other place. Most there no stop. The floor in the room was disgusting. If you were barefoot your feet turned black. Major question about the other amenities there.

They cats and my tv wasn’t working but overall it was good

I did not have breakfast there, there was no mention of one. The motel itself was close to the ocean, so the location was good. My room was facing the street; it was loud and bright. The room had black mold on the ceiling. The second bed had dirty stains on the sheets and bedding.
