The park itself is beautiful. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the many picnic areas. We loved to just drive through the park and look at the woods. The scenery is magical. The lodging was absolutely terrible. We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was filthy. I am all for rustic, but that does not mean dirty. Amenities that were advertised were not included and I could feel my lungs hurting from staying 3 nights in a moldy room. Mold all over the windowsills, walls and ceiling of bathroom and in the shower. Go to the park, but do not stay in a cabin.

Great location, the staff was very nice. We love the lazy river! Make sure you check out the other things to do in the park like the pony rides for kids and trail rides for adults! I wish I got one of the remodeled rooms, but they're getting their. They should have listed somewhere the 48in requirement to go down the slide.

Location, staff, amenities and close to other things to do. Shower head could use a sprayer attachment.

The location was great. The beds were comfortable and the patio outside of our room was so nice to sit on the porch swing. The room we stayed in wasn’t clean. There were spider webs all along the ceiling, the lampshade had black mold underneath. The hairdryer cord had black mold all over the cord. The pool itself was nice however the water was cold and the lazy river should have some inflatable rings. We had breakfast there but it was a buffet instead of what is on the menu that’s in the folder in the room. Some of the food was cold. The AC in our room wasn’t working and when I went up to the front desk to let them know they said they were aware but nothing could be done and that the room should cool down as the night goes on.

Staff was friendly, pool area was clean and nice, food was good. The ac until wasn’t working very well. When we booked in room was 76 and still 76 when we left, very uncomfortable for sleeping.

Location No AC in room. Restaurant was only offering Buffet, which is much more expensive per person and the food quality was poor. Weddings with music blasting until 11:00, then loud people leaving. Bathroom VERY dated.

Being right in the park is wonderful. The bathroom was very small, no counter space. No luggage rack or chair in the room.

Location and friendly staff. Some friends who stayed in the lodge rooms liked the rooms. The cabin was utterly disappointing. It was not fully cleaned when we got there. The door lock was funky to work with. Damp towels were on the bathroom floor. There was no microwave even though an email from them stated there would be one in the room. There were no hangers in the closet, we had to go get them from the lodge lobby along with towels. Oh, and the toilet water tank was at times using drip irrigation to fill up.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I booked two cabins through Booking.com in January and prepaid. When I arrived at the desk to check in, you hadn't saved the cabins I had rented, so we had no rooms (even though I had prepaid). Your management found us two rooms in the Lodge (at no extra charge), so we were accommodated. That said, why do you associate with a third party booking agency when you don't smoothly handle the bookings with them? When I asked whose fault the snafu was, you immediately blamed Booking.com and there was no discussion. I asked to see the hotel manager and was completely blown off by the front desk person. That's not good PR. The Lodge was nice, the rooms were spotless, but you've got some communication issues that need to be dealt with.
