Hotel Parking was terrible but it is New Orleans so take that with a grain of salt. Front desk staff was mostly uninterested and got upset when the room key mag got wiped and I had to get a new key. Tub filled up with water to my calves while I took a shower. Had to wait minutes to let it drain enough to not soak the bathroom floor. Toilet barely flushed. Hotel worked in a pinch but my wife and I won’t be going back.

Bathroom floors needed more attention. I would suggest some type of steam mopping around the toilets.

Front desk was amazing. Professional and sincere. Breakfast staff was horrible. Asked for bananas refused my request. Breakfast with bare minimum.

Nice hotel for the price

Decent hotel right on the edge of the French Quarter. Short, three block walk to the bus stop going to the airport which was convenient since we didn't rent a car. Easy to walk to anything along the waterfront or French Quarter. Room was small, but clean and in good working order. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was average, typical for a free one. Would stay here again.

Keys mess up

The hotel was nice. The mattress needed to be replaced thou. The bathtub was slippery and there was no grab bar. Staff were wonderful. The air-conditioning until in the room was very loud, needs a tune up. Overall great place and c would stay again !
-
Gloomy, musty, over priced parking in a sketchy area, rude front desk workers. No windows in our room, which was strange. Would absolutely not stay again.
-
Clean room, well maintained, not enough seating for breakfast, great location and close to public paid parking.

property was right in town. staff was so comfortable with guests. property was very clean. Rooms, very clean and comfortable. I will be back.

I love this place. The staff was great very welcoming. Lawan and Juan on breakfast outstanding Happy Birthday Ms. Lady. The rooms are nice and clean. Only problem please put microwaves in the room and work on those slow flush toilets. The parking is too expensive at $45 a night for location and trying to squeeze the car into a slot. Other than the lack of a microwave in the room great location close to everything.

Horrible parking no microwave definitely wouldn’t book again!
-
Convenient location. Staff was excellent.

Your ad says there is on site parking, we had to pay $45 and walk to blocks to park our car.

Loved the convenience in location

This was supposed to be an extension of my original stay, booked following instructions from the reception. I had to change rooms, but was assured at the reception that I would be able to check into the new room immediately after leaving the old one. When it came time to do so the next day, the room was still not available, and I would need to wait 4h until the normal check in time. So my extra day ended up being 4h long and a waste of money (I was flying out in the evening).

Location was great just off the French Quarters. Had to pack a block away and the evening desk person wasn’t helpful or pleasant.

Location, cool old old hotel, refurbished, clean. Front door was broken, tv in room did not work, toilet ran constantly and was stained, no cold water, parking attendant was rude, it was difficult to check in, no instructions were given as to where and how to check in, parking was 2 blocks away.

For the price hotel was good. Rooms were small beds were not comfortable at all. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was the same thing every day, no variety. Location was good, hotel was close to everything a short walk to the French Quarter.

Good location, my room was decent, customer service was the problem Some staff were very good; others provided bad customer service. TV didn’t work, receptionist at front desk kept saying “push the button”…I know how to turn on a TV, it was not working. The next day they offered to move me to another “comparable” room. Packed up everything moved to the other room which was a downgrade, so I moved back to the other room. One staff member explained it was New Year’s Eve and all the cable and electricity was off in the whole area…a complete lie, power was not off and everyone else in the hotel had their TV working. They offered me a night of free parking, I explained I did not have a car parked at their hotel. Then they said if I signed up for a hotel membership they would give me points & that is all they could do, I declined. I asked the front desk for clean towels 3x, message was never passed on to house keeping. When the house keeper came by she said no one asked her to come, but she wanted to know what I needed that day, I said towels and had to hold the door open as she reached in to her cart to pass me 2 unfolded hand towels & 2 unfolded bath towels. Later when I was changing the housekeeper just walked into my room without knocking & for no apparent reason. She wasn’t coming to bring towels & certainly wasn’t coming to clean. She had nothing in her hand and no cart. After this I called and asked to speak to a manager who told me all she could do was offer me a night of free parking…again, I had no car parked at this hotel. We then got disconnected I called back and spoke to another person who claimed she was the manager and the other woman was not. She offered to compensate me for the room. I have not seen a credit yet, but I am trusting she will be true to her word. As I was leaving I heard another couple complaining about problems with their room and the receptionist said all they could do was have them sign up for the hotel points program and they could give them points.
