It was a convenient stay the rooms need upgrading but overall I had no issues.

Hotel's parking lot was not available. I can't find a parking spot for my SUV vehicle with my stuff in the back there. Hotel did not have email. I am Deaf. I had no way to contact the hotel directly except the Hotels did help me to contact the hotel through chat.

The hotel is located at a very dirty and insecure location. The property has short stay option making it open to customers that appear not very safe being around. The rooms are minimally equipped and smelly. Its price is very high. I barely slept through the night. I just had to stay the night so as to catch a train at the train station that is some few hundred meters away.

The bed is very noise, it is a real trash. The furniture are broken. The area of the hotel is not safe, not clean at all. Stay away this place.

So we knew for the price of the hotel. We weren't gonna get the grand resort, but many of the reviewers said it was clean and all we needed was in one night's day, so our first hotel room smelled funny was run down. Firestrobes were hanging off the wall bugs in the light fixtures , ceiling was damaged from roof leak. Are front door not secure with just closing? You had to physically lift the door up to get it to latch. The hallway smell badly a pot which in turn made our room smell of pot. So I went up and requested a different room, we were in the first room for about 20 minutes.Maybe 25 minutes when we went up to the front desk, the lady gave us a hard time. Why did we wait so long making it our fault that the room wasn't ready for us. We got our second room right next to our old room.Hallway still smells of pot.Our room smelled a little bit like pot, but it was better.\nWe sucked it up and stayed at night , but it wasn't a very good stay. Are second room was slightly better and I used that term very loosely. Our bed had like a double layer of regular bedsheets , no comforter , no blanket , we brought our own blanket in from the car. The air conditioner filters were filthy. Our view outThe window was a courtyard that was definitely neglected. I really don't like giving reviews like this. But the hotel has to put forth an effort. Other issues were, very minimal parking outside smelled like urine. Their hotel sign was missing letters trash everywhere. Their pictures had definitel

Nice place for stay in Emergency

Unfortunately, my stay at Hotel Mint was very disappointing. We had missed our flight and needed a place to stay, so we booked this hotel expecting a comfortable place to rest. We arrived about 15 minutes before check-in and simply asked if we could check in a little early. The front desk staff was not welcoming or helpful and told us we had to wait until check-in time. When I asked if there was a lobby where we could sit because we were exhausted, I was told there was no lobby. The overall condition of the property was also disappointing. The elevator was not working, the room had very little in it, and the bathroom looked extremely worn and poorly maintained. The area surrounding the hotel also did not feel particularly safe or well-kept. There was even dog waste directly in front of the building that I nearly stepped in when entering. Unfortunately, the experience felt more like staying at a run-down motel than a hotel. The biggest issue wasn’t simply the condition of the property—it was the lack of hospitality and helpfulness from the front desk when we were already dealing with the stress of missing our flight. I would not choose to stay here again and would recommend travelers consider other options.

My recent experience at Mint Hotel, especially my last night, was extremely disappointing. The overall stay was far below my expectations, and the problems I experienced made my final night particularly unpleasant. I expected a comfortable and satisfactory stay, but unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues that affected my stay so future guests do not have the same experience.

was having issues with my flight so needed a place where i can relax shower. This isn’t a fancy 5 star hotel i gave this hotel 5 stars for clean room and bathroom however there were no towels and wash clothes and that was ok because when i ask for it i received it . Staff was pleasant. I am from new york i relocated a few years ago so the location didn’t bother me. For those not from here this is a place in the hood i am not going to sugar coat it, the bodega around the corner and other stores if you chose to door dash that’s fine too because i sure did . so don’t expect it to be like your luxury casino hotel. It is a room with a bed and shower and nice size flat screen my room didn’t have any windows so if lights are out it will feel like it’s dark all day long i am not saying all the rooms are windowless but my room was on first floor and i kept light off that was alright with me and it’s clean for decent price. Last but not least marijuana is definitely being smoked in there but if u get caught im sure u will be fined but i know its being smoked because i smelled it so basically smoke at your own risk dont get caught . This was a last minute thing till my ticket got resolved but there would be no need for me to return shall they mess up my ticket again i just might return .

Had to book this last minute and everything was great during my stay. The staff was helpful and check in / out was super easy. I do recommend getting your towels at check in b/c we didn’t have any in the room. But other than that it was a normal hotel 👍

Only one wash cloth and one towel in room and the room was smelling like smoke, sheets was old and the remote control for the TV you have to pay $10 to use it and then when you return it they refund you, not a good experience at all

Hotel Mint was very comfortable and clean .staff were kind and attentive not to mention Polite and welcoming it's the best hotel in queens their Prices are great as well I love hotel mint

I mean there’s the 1 young lady staff that works at night she’s very respectful and nice and reasonable tbh if it wasn’t for her I would not be booking this hotel It’s like first off I’m paying 220 for 1 night for something that’s not even 220 worthy let’s be honest that hotel isn’t 220$ worth of my money honestly i genuinely feel like the prices are terrible for crappy stay space then it’s a bunch of drunks and crackheads around the place the rooms smell like cigarettes the tv isn’t even update only some rooms have great TVs I paid 175$ for a hotel near Jamaica Avenue and that’s something that was worth it nice marble wars shower beautiful tooth brushes floors are nice furniture great tv big with apps already downloaded smellls clean the lobby looks beautiful and even going to the room is beautiful

Firstly when I arrived my room was marked as unclean and they still checked me in once I got in my room I noticed there was mold . I then was moved to a room with a toilet that didnt work , extreme amounts of dust & separate entrances to my room . I then requested another room at which time my request was ignored and the hotel manager told me to reach out to my booking site for a refund which I did and have yet to receive anything . My entire stay was disgusting and inhumane

I stayed here once before and the neighborhood is not great but the proximity to the subway to get you to JFK is great. Subway has 2 police officers on site at all times. Last time it was nice and clean. This time they started rentinf rooms by the hour. And it is very obvious what is going on. I got there late and had an early flight so I decided to stay. I felt unsafe but the amazing younf girl at the desk reassured me I would be fine. And I was and I slepr great with the bathroom fan on. The bed is very comfortable. So all in all it was fine for me and older female solo traveler. However if I had checildren even my own grown daughter I would have left for sure. So great value but be warned.

The price No soap no shower gel

Awful area was the biggest concern...staff helpful. Room smelled of deodorizer and smoke...neighbors up making noise at midnight but staff helped with that
