Everything was phenomenal

The lady is not friendly

No sense of Safety. Bed bugs and an attempt of someone to get into our room at 7:30am had us feeling unsafe and booking a new hotel when management only wanted to move us across the hall to a different room or five us a 2 day refund.

Everything was nearby.

Parking is very limited and tight

Location was ok. Short walk to the train station. Bus stop right in front big hotel. The bed was hard on one side king bed. The young guy that was at the front desk. Was not friendly. But the other staff was ok. Being asked do I want a remote for the tv at check in is crazy.

Staff was extremely friendly. He just check out late. Since we checked in pretty late, he was very accommodating. The bed was not very comfortable to be quite honest. I realized afterwards it was two twin beds put together. It was not. In fact, a king size bed and the parking lot is very tight and I almost did not have a parking spot. Had someone not left right when I pulled up it was extremely difficult to maneuver in that small space.

View was nice and a/c worked well The microwave was broken and their only solution was for us to change rooms. They would not give us a credit of any kind. Also breakfast was not ready until 7:30 so no coffee till then.

I’d stay again

Good location, 18mins away from Manhattan grand central using subway 7. Woodside subway station is 9mins walk, did not feel unsafe walking at night there. The q60 bus is at the hotel doorstep and is practical. Do not expect leisure like a 5 star hotel, but it’s perfect if you want to explore New york and have a safe place to sleep and bathe. Many shops around, Dunkin donuts at 4mins walk. The lobby looked cheap, elevator’s carpet need to be renovated. A little sound from the trains nearby.

An okay budget hotel. Staff was decently helpful. Our room was dingy but a/c and tv worked fine. Pictures are definitely better than the actual room. Our sheets were definitely used a lot, so would have loved newer sheets. Overall an okay experience. Only really used this hotel to sleep in, I wouldn’t recommend if you’re staying for comfort.

nothing elevator not working

Location Absolutely horrible and derelict. Smelly room, cigarette burns on the blanket, dirty sheets, AC was fixed at 76F, uncomfortable bed, broken sink, rude receptionist.

The elevator was broken. There is no locks on the doors. The walls are dirty. Beds are hard.

First at check in we were given a room as soon as we walked in we saw roaches and the second room had a flicker light like on a scary movie and paper cover a vent duct on the ceiling. The elevator the only single elevator was broken for 2 nights of my 3 night stay

Location It’s filthy. They need to clean their doors and walls

Convenient location for our needs. Quiet, and pretty clean No coffee machine in rooms, floors were in bad shape and bed spread was dirty. Long black hair on bath floor, I have blond and husband is bald so not ours

The room and bed are comfortable. The amenities are minimal, and maintence is only OK. Some electrical outlets aren't working, and the toilet runs constantly.
