Econo Lodge Newport

Five stars because they gave me a room on the third floor with a fantastic ocean view and sunset. Totally unexpected since it was the cheapest hotel for night. Not sure if there’s any views from the second floor. Good coffee a few doors down.

The beds were comfortable and it had a microwave and fridge No AC , the shower curtain was too short so water went all over the floor in the bathroom and when I was trying to load up my car a couple different homeless people kept asking for money and recycling.

Location was excellent and the cost was perfect. Just what we needed.

Nothing good to say about the Property. For an ocean view, you could barely see the ocean over the top of the buildings. What was the point of even advertising such a thing

Close to main strip of shops and restaurants

I would gladly return to this hotel the next time I'm in town! So close to the beach and you will find plenty of restaurants and stores in the immediate area. Our room was clean, safe and peaceful. I found the front desk staff to be pleasant people. A very straightforward experience so I am satisfied. All was alright!

The beds were hard as a rock. My husband and I both have had horrible bad pain all day, as a result. The room was extremely small. We had to move both beds just to be able to fit our sons pack n play. The size of the room was so small. Nothing made sense. The tub was clogged so the shower didn’t drain. There was no air conditioning system. Only a heater. It felt clean, but the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable causing both my husband and I to have aching backs the next day. We had gotten in late from traveling and wanted to sleep good but we didn’t so we were very fatigued. I feel like for the cost, it was not good at all. Would have rather stayed at Motel 6..

Room was clean, air conditioner was loud and never cooled, shower couldn’t regulate either too hot or too cold, states coffee but when went down door was locked. Overall good room for quick get away.

The room had a view. It was easily accessible with a power wheelchair. The staff was friendly & let us into the room early so the person in the power wheelchair could get some much needed rest. She was very happy with the room. Location made it easy for her to get to the beach & local restaurants & coffee shops.

This econolodge had everything I needed at a great price. There was no air conditioning but it wasn’t needed because it was cool here by the Pacific. The front desk person was very kind and considerate. I had no issues here. I would definitely stay here again.

This had all of the key things I was hoping for. This does not often happen at an affordable price. Clean, nice size refrigerator that is cold, microwave, great desk for working and a comfortable office chair. Nice TV and internet connection made this a fortunate selection for a 19 day work trip. Thank you!

The price was good due to it being a weekend The bed was hard as a rock. The room had a weird smell and the area sketchy

The walls are so thin. We could hear unpleasant sounds all evening into the night. Will not come back.
