Holiday Inn Oceanside Camp Pendleton Area by IHG

This place was alright. No complaints. I'd say it earns an 8/10 from price and location alone. Just expect comfy not luxury.

Comfortable bed Construction work outside my windows, noisy from the construction, bartender fired so no bar service, no light bulbs in both night tables which had to be addressed, air conditioning had to be constantly adjusted

No free breakfast, No coffee down stairs, Gym had broken threadmill and other gym stuff is very old for a Holiday Inn hotel. Normally all holiday Inn I stayed had a decent GYM atleast. Probably this is the worse holiday Inn I stayed. The night guy front desk is very creepy as well. Asking too many weird questions that I think it doesnt have to be questioned to me.

Nice location but unlike other Holiday Inns, breakfast was not free.

The staff was really nice and helpful and happy to help not rude or seemed annoyed to get me a spoon. And the sink is outside the bathroom is always a plus. There was white thick liquid like toothpaste or cream or something splashed across the coffee maker which made me uncomfortable about the cleanliness of everything else. The body soap in the shower was empty.

Great location next to Oceanside , Harbor & marina . Make sure you go to the area behind it where the sea lions bask in the sun

No night time restaurant . Morning restaurant needs more help. One worker is not enough.

The good customer service of the hotel staff

Have stayed here 5-6 times and love the convenience to the beach, shops… Only complaint this time was a/c was muggy and the room couldn’t go below 79 degrees. Otherwise everything else was great.
