Residence Inn by Marriott Omaha Downtown/Old Market Area

The hotel was very nice and clean. I really liked the room layout and it was so quiet. The bed was very nice too. PARKING! I park next door and dis not realize the hotel had their own parking. I asked how it worked and no one would give me any help. Needless to say, I ended up paying twice for parking. It was very frustrating.

Nice centrally located accommodation but noticeable noise from street traffic. Older solid building makes for quiet guest rooms though. Breakfast area well laid out with ample setting. Convenient valet services for hire reasonably priced. Well furnished as a residence facility except for lacking stove and oven utensils.

Staff is very helpful and this hotel is very well located. My only complaint is that the elevator floors were not kept clean throughout the day. Rooms were very clean. Nice experience!

Exceptional

Incredibly friendly staff. Dante, one of the valet staff was so friendly and accommodating and took the time to really show us where to park and what to do. The tTVs in the room were not working, and Portia from the maintenance team popped in within 5 minutes of the call and reconnected and got them all running. She was the best example of extraordinary service. BOOKING does not properly address the parking options in the listing, it would have been helpful to know the options.

Quiet setting good for time to myself after a long week of study for my masters program. The kitchen area had a broken cabinet.

Bad

Very clean room all around. Comfy bed, great breakfast options. Had a great stay.

The room didn’t have any bath towels. It also had a red stain on the blinds. The windows also overlooked the parking garage right next door.

Friendly staff

The hotel itself and rooms were nice but they offered 2 options for parking when we booked, self park and valet, both were an extra charge but valet was more expensive so we decided we would self park but when we arrived we were told valet was the only option and had to pay $70 for 2 days.

Really enjoyed our stay, very nice and helpful staff, the included breakfast is an amazing plus and the food was good. The room was clean, with a lot of space and comfortable bed. Overall a very good experience, the airport shuttle also a nice service, would recommend.
