This hotel is the very ugly stepsister of the hotel next door. All of the staff and the restaurant/food and check-in are next door. You have to walk to the other hotel of call/text for anything. The towels around the pool are disguating. The food tray we left near the pool at 5pm was still there at 9am the next day. Mid-century “charm” is about all It has going for it

Overall, this is a nice hotel with a great downtown location. Very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool. It is showing its age a bit. One minor disappointment was that the room was missing an ironing board and the iron itself was unclean; it would have wrecked any light-colored item.

The room was not very clean. The only day out of 6 days that we asked to have our room cleaned, the towels were changed, the trash was emptied but no vacuuming, no mopping, the bathroom sink and mirror were not cleaned. In the corner of the toilet was a metal toilet brush container that showed drippings of previous uses. Disgusting. The bathroom sink faucet did not go up all the way so the water was thin coming out. It took FOREVER to get hot water in the sink and the shower. The floor was dirty. When my husband was nude in the room, a woman knocked on the door, did not wait for a response and walked in only to rush out again — we had not requested cleaning that day — I cleaned myself. Along with others, we laughed at how dirty the swimming pool float was. Except for the first day that we were there, every other day had a sign saying there was no one in the office so people had to check in/out elsewhere. Coffee ran out in the mornings as did the cold water container. So very disappointed in this property. Our room had a small courtyard where an overhang broke and slashed the screen to the window. No attention whatsoever so cleanliness and maintenance.

The view, location, coffee pour over, and private pool were all great. The pool/deck chairs and the outdoor patio chairs all needed a deep clean. They wete stained.

Great place to stay, not a huge hotel, super nice & quiet. Loved the private patio . The staff was great!! Walkable to downtown and lots of wonderful food choices.

I enjoyed staying in a true mid-century modern hotel. The staff was thoughtful and courteous. Always ready to be helpful. Location close to many shops and restaurants.

I loved my stay. A staff member walked me from the check-in desk to my room and showed me everything I needed to know about the room and the pool area. Talk about going above and beyond! The pool was warm and clean, the lounge chairs were comfortable, and there was citrus-infused ice water available on the pool deck. The air conditioner might be too loud for some, but to me, it's white noise, and most importantly, it kept the room plenty cold to counteract the 100 degree outdoor heat. The provided pour-over coffee that came in my room was good stuff. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was a bit soft for my taste because I prefer a firm to very firm mattress, but I still slept well. I appreciated being able to communicate with the hotel staff via text 24/7 and they were very responsive when I needed help with something. They provided housekeeping only on the days I wanted it and during the timeframe I requested. My room had a huge closet and a fridge with an actual freezer. The neighborhood was convenient and also somewhat upscale, depending on which direction I walked. I felt safe, including when coming back late at night. It was a nice area to walk around in after the sun went behind the mountains in the evening and it cooled off a bit. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great getaway for me and the hubby. We just needed a private getaway and this was perfect. It was quite not crowded and very intimate. The restaurant next door is great. The pool and rooms are well maintained and the staff were extremely helpful. Definitely staying here again when a getaway is needed.

I definitely would stay here again 👍

Amanda at the front desk was amazing, there was an issue with our room and she immediately moved us to another room to ensure we were happy.

We only spent one night but it quiet and clean. Kinda retro as it was built in 1947. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Q

Very charming and centrally located hotel

Large room with pool and view of the mountains. Property was excellently maintained and convenient walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

pros - great location with view to the mountain and within one block of restaurants. loved the old charm of this 1947 boutique hotel with Frank Sintra era music playing in the background. i booked this hotel for one night to enjoy the pool and pool service. My wife and I spent the afternoon/evening enjoying the clean pool and the excellent food and service from the sister property next door. the staff were very nice. cons - we were disappointed because there was no restroom for us to use near the pool. We had to exit the pool area and walk through the lobby to go to our room upstairs to use the bathroom in our unit. at around 9 pm my wife went outside to use the restroom. when she tried to return, she was stuck outside with another female hotel guest also trying to get back in. the pin code she had used many times before was not working. luckily, i went out to see what was taking so long and happened to see them to let them back in. My wife and i did not go to the hotel to watch tv but a smart tv with working remote would be nice.

The service provided by the phone operator, the maintenance workers, and everyone altogether was great! The free upgrade was really nice and a nice benefit. The tvs didn't have reception on the first night so they refunded the Resort Fees for 2 days.
