It was pretty rough toilet didn't work well at all it was pretty gross not really cleaned well

Avoid at all costs! Run down, dangerous area, extremely noisy, impossible staff.

Looks like they have been working on renovating. New floors, furnishings, and tile but the paint was peeling in the bathroom ceiling and the old, stained, cigarette burned mattress was extremely uncomfortable. We decided to check out and drive the 7 hours home overnight just to not stay the 3rd night. We also left a crochet blanket that the manager insists isn't there. We didn't stay anywhere else. I'll pay to ship it if they find it.

Do not stay at this hotel. We booked a room through hotels.com because the price was affordable compared to other hotels near Salem Massachusetts. That was a mistake. The Plaza Inn is one of the filthiest hotels I have ever seen. The original room we were assigned to had stains in all the blankets, the lamp did not light up, and the deadbolt did not work. We were given another room instead, but it was even worse. There were crumbs, dirt, and hair in the sheets. There were crumbs and utensils on the table and desk chair in the room. The blankets again had stains, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke despite the hotel having a “non-smoking policy.” We were so disgusted that we checked out immediately after checking in. We did not stay at the Plaza Inn for the night, opting instead for a cleaner, newer, and more reputable hotel. We asked for a refund, given all the mentioned problems we had. We were denied any refund amount. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Pay the extra money for a name brand hotel.

I stayed there for four nights. I barely spoke to any employees besides when I was checking in and when I was checking out. The room was nice, decently sized. The bedrooms they use make a random banging sound whenever you're trying to sit on the bed or shift when laying down so that was a bit noisy. You can easily hear your neighbors. So you don't have any plastic lining in the shower so I wasn't sure if they wanted there cloth shower curtain inside the tub or outside the tub, and the body wash was supposed to be provided was completely empty. And then they only have a conditioning shampoo which you had to press very hard to get. I like the desk and the chair that was in the room. It was clean and nobody mess with my stuff when I was gone. I did notice that a lot of people like to sit outside so they might want to look into getting outside benches they have the room for it. It's not too far from a restaurant or a 7/11. It looks slightly sketchy from the outside but honestly it wasn't too bad. It was easy for my Lyft drivers to come and find me as well as my doordash drivers too.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff communicated poorly and treated me uncomfortably when I asked what I was being asked to sign. Instead of explaining, the employee simply said, “Sign here,” and gave me a strange look for asking a reasonable question. The overall lack of friendliness and professionalism, combined with the location, made the property feel unsafe. The room was also not properly cleaned. The carpet was dirty, there was a paper towel left under the sheets, and hair was still present in the shower. These issues made me question the cleanliness of the room and whether it had been thoroughly prepared for guests. The only positive aspect was the excellent water pressure in the shower. Overall, the poor communication, cleanliness issues, and uncomfortable atmosphere made this a disappointing stay.

Closer to the place we were going, like Salem Town. Too noisy near a busy road, with no amenities at all.

There was a little dove spray by the counter The place is expensive but old and doesn’t meet the standards. No lobbies ,no breakfast. Staff are not there for check ou during certain times. It’s just the was inn that I have been to. Room are small, fridge and fridge was not the best.

The smell was horrible and the bed was hard as a rock.

Great place to stay a night

Nothing The place has crackheads populating some of the rooms, they roam the property on crack possibly meth. They love to scream at each other all night long about crack lighters and quarters.

I liked that there’s an AC and heater in every room that I got to control The bathtub paint was ripped all around so it looked like dirt, the fridge and microwave were very dirty, the bed was completely uncomfortable. I know it was overall cheaper than some other motels, but definitely not worth the $212 that I paid for a night.
