Overall, the room was quite clean and offered good value for the price. That said, there were a few disappointing aspects of my stay. When I made the reservation, the Booking.com page indicated that late checkout was available as a Genius Level 3 benefit, which was one of the reasons I decided to stop here for the night. I did not check in until close to midnight, so I had hoped to get a little more rest the following morning. Upon arrival, however, I was told that late checkout was not available and that I would still need to leave by 11:00 a.m. I then asked whether I could simply pay for a later checkout. I would have had no issue paying an additional $15–25, but I was quoted $50. For a modest extension of the checkout time, that struck me as rather steep, particularly since the property did not appear especially busy on a Thursday night. The combination of the advertised Genius benefit and the lack of flexibility upon arrival left me somewhat puzzled by the property’s approach to guest service. I also felt slightly uncomfortable during my interaction with the front-desk employee. After looking at my ID, he mispronounced my name twice and, while smiling, proceeded to try it a third time. I certainly understand that unfamiliar East Asian names can be difficult to pronounce, and I do not want to speculate about his intentions. Still, the manner in which the interaction unfolded left me with the impression that my name was being treated as something amusing rather than simply unfamiliar. It may well have been an innocent misunderstanding, but from a guest’s perspective, the exchange did not feel particularly professional or comfortable.

Budget Inn was exactly as advertised, a small, clean, older property at a budget price.

The location is great. The room is very very clean. The Staff is unbelievably welcoming. The bed could be little more comfortable but still not bad. I have stayed here before and will continue to stay when I need to. Nothing really just the comfort of the bed but like I said above it was not bad.

It was clean and felt safe, but the bed felt like it was made of wood and the pillows like rolled up blue jeans. The price takes a little sting out of the bad bed situation. No breakfast. Bring your own pillows.

I was fine with the stay but the attendant was not friendly and seem edgy and rude rather than attentive and kind. Plus my last night stay someone was messing with my door at 430am. When I asked if breakfast was served he snapped at me. Clean

The outside is blah but don't judge by the appearance. Room was very clean and well taken care of. Discount motel without the stale smell you get at some places with similar prices.

It was a retro property, something out of the 50s or 60s. It was small but cute. It was very wuiet.

Property was exactly as described and expected. A clean no frills budget motel. Room on smaller side but clean and well maintained. Beds/Mattresses appeared new- nice firm mattresses. Room had mini fridge and microwave. Some Highway noise but we purposely wanted to be near interstate. Parking lot was well lit and monitored which was a plus!

Quiet. Super clean and nicely updated. Had a little trouble getting wifi. Resolved.

It was mostly clean No way to control the AC and thin covers made for a cold evening.

The motel was clean and well maintained. We did experience a bit of a temper from the proprietor when we backed into a parking space. It was an understandable concern but being yelled at after a 1000 mile road trip was a bit wearing. I’d stay here again but I’d bring a blanket as there was just a sheet and a shiny bed topper on the bed.

Exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed. Only downside was we couldn’t change the controls on the air conditioner.
