Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach, Autograph Collection

The entire second floor smells like Sewage. The room we stayed in was right next to a bar that blasts music until 11pm that is so loud you can hear it from inside of the room. The air conditioning in our room did not work and it was 96 degrees outside. One of the two elevators at the hotel was out of service, which meant there was no easy way to our room. Right outside of our balcony there are dumpsters that smelled very bad and the smell of rotten trash constantly consumed our room every time the balcony door was opened. The hotel staff was rude and not helpful. They only offer Valet parking so if you are like me and don't want a stranger driving your car then they have no parking for you, and you have to park on the street where there is no parking available 99% of the time. We have stayed in Pismo over 100 different times, and this was one of the worst places we have stayed. We won't be back.

Not happy with my stay. Hot tub was not working. That was my reason for staying at this hotel and it was my first time staying here and was looking forward to it. I was very disappointed

Great location. The proximity sensor in the bathroom should be removed as the automatic light on destroys a good night sleep when you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The TV is too large and sticks out on each side making passage difficult. The hotel signage is awful, making finding the elevator or exercise room difficult. Also there needs to be a sign in the elevator that a room key is needed to use it. All the cabinets in the room were either hard to open or banged when closed. The faucets in 2nd sink in the bathroom did not work. The room was very very noisy. There was no desk in the room. There was not a hot tub , or if there was it wasn’t turned on. Prices, including the room price were much too high. The sliding door to the balcony could not be locked. The bed pillows were too heavy and large. Foam pillows would be better. The Google cast feature only worked intermittently. The 4PM check in was delayed by 45 min. , though we were offered a free drink.

The hotel amenities were great everything that was there was so convenient for people staying at this hotel. Beach was near and pool Was perfect. Some staff were a little racist to us so we had a bad experience. Over the hotel was Great.

clean room and staff is very nice. The breakfast at the restaurant was not very good everything was very good. Will be staying there again.

Exceptional

Breakfast was good, not hot enough, but our server took care of it asap and everything was good. no salt or pepper, checked other tables and there were none either, again our server saved the day.

Remodeling work at the pool area was unfortunate

Great location right on the beach and close to everything. Pool is being remodeled but we came for the beach so it's all good! staff was great and helpful extending our stay for an extra night
