Room was amazing with amazing staff

The Double Tree by Hilton in Pomona, California was a very nice and well maintained hotel. Everyone was hospitable and my room was clean and the surroundings quiet.

Upon checking in we were greeted by a delightful young woman who got us checked in and had amazing customer service. We walked into our assigned room and immediately requested another because of the mildew smell. A new room was assigned to us and it smelled much stronger so we asked to be placed back in the first room. They were really kind and said they could keep searching for another room until we found one that didn’t smell, but the smell was coming from the AC unit, so we figured it would be pretty much the same in any other room. There were also crumbs on the couch and stains on the ceiling. The next morning, when we had enough natural light coming into the room…we noticed mold growing in the AC unit. The windows also didn’t open at all which didn’t help with the issue. Sweet and hospitable staff, but the rooms desperately need an upgrade.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Whole floor fill with detergent smell. The towels the bedding , everything , all so old. Lower your expectations for sure given the price tag. Staff are friendly. Not their fault… will not come back

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was excellent and very helpful and kind. Pool was on the smaller side but we loved that about it!

Air-conditioned smelled a little mildewey. TV was dated and could not connect my phone to it. No web access so no YouTube or netflix

One night stay, good to put your head down. Carpets in the bedroom not so good. This hotel is just off the freeway. Bar and restaurant in the hotel was nice.

The staff was great, but the hotel lacked cleanliness. Our pull out sofa had blood stains over the mattress and no sheets, the toilet didn’t flush and the room felt humid and had a we smell.

The hotel was very clean and nice. I didn't like the customer service from the front desk. Some of the front desk employees were very cold and not friendly at all and I didn't felt welcome.

Unhelpful staff, we left early due to uncleanliness, we're not encouraged to stay or any help to address our concerns. Cockroach spotted in hallway, room unclean rice in corner of room. Linen grey and old. Staff just said, this sometimes happens as food left in hallway. How can they be so nochalent about all of this and not help the guest?
