Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel

The hotel was nice; however, the toilet was not working properly and I had to be moved to another room.

The rooms were very nice. The BATHROOM did not have enough light. There was hair in my bathroom shower. Would have liked a microwave in my room.

10/10 i will be back i definitely enjoyed my stay /view

The location and convenience via water taxi to Norfolk. Overall everything was great. The elevators squeaked.

Not worth the cost. Very disappointed. The only thing good was our bartender Zoe and the food was delicious.

Very clean updates modern room ! Great area to stay in down by the navel ship. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Great visit. Would certainly book again

Great experience

Clean, good service and nice setting. The paying for parking.

Bar downstairs with few drunk people made my children a little nervous

Great team in place. Place is a little dated but clean. Nice views, staff is amazing.

Everything

Breakfast was good. Room was ok. Bed wasn’t the greatest and room was missing a few items. Wi-Fi was spotty. Didn’t feel safe walking from garage to main entrance. Didn’t see security cameras around perimeter of property

Good

Location was fine My hotel room I checked into was NOT clean, I was not heard from the staff until I started crying. Then the general manager came out and said he would comp my room so I didn’t have to pay for it.

Everything was amazing there. The staff was super helpful. Rooms were amazing.

The hotel could have been cleaner. Bathroom across from restaurant had no toilet paper. I was also ignored at lobby bar and never waited on. Room was nice. Front desk staff was excellent

Great service. Nice room. Very noisy after midnight in the hallway until 2am

My stay on Aug 8-10, 2026 was positive. My stay on Aug 16-18, 2026 was not at all good. Air conditioner was not working (Portable Box Fan was brought to the room) and Ice Machine on Floor 17 was not working!

Very good
