Motel 6 Rosemead, CA - Los Angeles

Everything was nice, only there is no mini-fridge or microwave in your room. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Staff was helpful . The place just need an update. The towels are horrible My first day stay towels were nice the next 3 days I had old towels towels situation can definitely improve.

Shower has mold. No refrigerator. Room was small. The bed had sheets for blankets no actual comforter was provided.

My air conditioner made angry loud noises and the general manager refused to help because it was too late in the afternoon and because I wasn't in my room when she called at 11am (I work early shift and get off in afternoon!!!) and she said there were no more rooms so in order to be switched rooms I would have to pay to extend. Very odd way of deflecting handling the issue. Very pleasant personality but terrible at actually solving my problem. I had two nights without being able to sleep. I am now sad.

A- Only gripe is card keys are extremely sensitive to anything magnetic. So protect your key card from your wallet, phone, headphones, anything magnetic, or else you’ll be swapping out key cards every day.

The rooms where poorly maintained the bathroom was leaking water don’t know if it came from the shower or toilet. Not to standart

Room wasn’t cleaned properly, shower floor was so dirty I didn’t even want to shower, property does not have enough towels on hand, and they do not enforce the rule against smoking by the rooms or loitering.

This was my first stay at a Motel 6 and it was not the best. The room was dirty plus the bed sheets were all stained and the towels were also stained. I was disappointed that there was never any clean towels. This is the first time I noticed the room did not have the shampoo and toothpaste for the guest to use. The pool was decent and my kids had fun. The staff some were nice and the others had a bad attitude. I even left early because I felt like the room was just so dirty and when we mentioned it the staff didn't offer to have someone clean it. I do not think I would ever go back to this location to be honest. Please replace the sheets and have the staff do a better job in cleaning the rooms before guests arrive.

First room we got smelled like pee. They moved us to another room and smelled worst like dog pee it was horrible

This place should only ever be used as a complete last resort. Depressing doesn’t even come close. The pictures online in no way reflect the rooms and whoever scored them as wonderful must have been drunk. I’ve seen more appealing prison cells than what’s on offer here and the motel is packed with folk screaming and messing around on the balconies all night. Both nights I was disturbed until way into the early hours. The bed linen was stained, the mattress was wrecked, the floors filthy, so much so that I had to throw my socks in the trash and the room stank of cigarettes. Bathroom fixtures are stained, cracked and filthy. Trying to find a positive I’d say that the location is great. Plenty of free parking and food and drink options and really much closer to downtown LA than I’d imagined. The pool area was nice enough, though I didn’t use it. The staff didn’t seem to care. It was obvious they just didn’t want to be there. A really poor performance from Motel 6 this time and I’d never ever stay at this property again, Avoid unless you have absolutely no other option.
