Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse

Staff doesn't enter room unless requested for towels,etc. Bathroom needs updating. No shelf in shower for soal and shampoo, shower curtain too short and water gets on floor, no safety bars in shower stall. Continental breakfast very sparse but they have an excellent coffee maker available 24-7 and lemon iced water always available.

Like so many other hotel rooms the a/c is noisy. Not sure why most under window units are so loud. We could hear our neighbors on both sides, so noise was are main issue.

Great location and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will highly recommend this place to our friends and family .

Excellent location, super friendly staff, room was very clean.

Room was nice but could use a deep cleaning. Breakfast was a little weak; coffee was good.

The breakfast could be improved with more protein added.

The location is wonderful but the room itself was lacking. The toilet did not work although the front desk staff did send someone promptly. The tv did not work and the remote was so dirty we did not want to try more than once. There was an iron but no ironing board and the pillows were rock hard. It has a lovely pool and sitting area and the staff were pleasant. So… it was a mixed experience.

Everything was good. Breakfast was actually better than the average continental.

This is a nice little place , just an older place outdated , air conditioning old unit . The hotel is very close to everything

St. Simon’s Inn at the Lighthouse never disappoints us! We have stayed here many times and are always satisfied. The staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms are always clean. It’s such a convenient location near the best restaurants, shopping is walkable and the ocean is only a short walk!

The staff was friendly and helpful except when they weren’t at the desk during some daylight hours. At times other guests were waiting for staff to arrive at the desk. When I checked out no staff available at the desk. The room was humid despite the air conditioner.

It's a beautiful place, highly recommend. Will stay again!

St Simon’s Inn was an excellent place to stay. The staff was amazing and so helpful. The continental breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Coffee and water out at all times. Room was very clean and well kept.

Room 217 was nicer than I anticipated. I loved all the decor and attention to detail. The bathroom was large and very pretty. Our room had a balcony, and an above-the-treetops view of the lighthouse. The location is perfect, especially if you are visiting the lighthouse. The walk by the shore to the pier is beautiful, especially at sunrise. If you like historical fiction, I would especially recommend Eugenia Price’s Lighthouse series. She incorporated much of the history and setting of St. Simons into her books.

This was a nice hotel in a very nice, quiet and convenient location. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. The hotel was cozy and only a 4 min walk to the beach.

Always nice, and restful.

Another week, and another stay at our favorite Inn on this beautiful island. We stay here every week, and if it tells you ANYTHING about how much we enjoy it here, we have booked out till the end of October for our visits.

It was a nice stay.

Clean and great style and comfortable.. Near light house and pier ,nice restaurants near by awesome water views
