Choice Inn San Antonio

This motel is in a very shady part of town. That alone would not have prevented me from staying. I arrived and there was no one at the front desk. I had to call and finally got someone to come around. The guy gave me the key card and I went to the room. I've stayed at a lot of low budget places but this was by far the worst ever. It was around 98 degrees fahrenheit outside and the AC unit inside didn't work - at all. There were bugs on the ceilings and walls. There were some fairly rough looking folks kinda hanging around. I immediately got online and started looking for another place, any place. Luckily I was able to get out of there and into a much better but more expensive place. I would avoid this one at all costs. There was not a single thing whatsoever to like about this place. There's no working AC, at least in the room I was given. It was so humid inside that both the floor and the walls were wet. The guy at the desk wasn't able to communicate in English and acted like he was mad at me for trying to talk to him.

Nice, safe location, we were able to walk back safely from the Alamodome. The bed was very stiff, but not so much I couldn’t sleep. Still great for the price.

Was outside of the main part of San Antonio Room needs a few repairs. There wasn’t any shampoo or coffee.

The hotel was in a great location. Close to the Alamodome. There is a bus stop close by to the hotel so I could go Downtown or any destination during my stay. HEB Grocery Store, a convience store (forgot the name), & Church's Chicken restaurant are walking distance from the hotel.
