This is a clean and quiet property. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water and great pressure!

Loved this hotel and will be back!

The exterior is like a resort but the room was motel quality. Nothing crazy but there were some hairs around and a slight smell, you could hear the neighbors

Pool was clean hot tub was hot and the surrounding area and landscape were actually phenomenal. Great place to relax and unwind will be back again.

We always stay at the Kings Inn, economical Clean and comfortable

We stayed with our 10 & 11 year old grandchildren. The room size was adequate and the beds were fine. Nice size fridge. The problems. Scratched up floor that didn't look clean Bottom drawer on dresser wouldn't open and close easily, so it was unusable Toilet and shower area were so small that there wasn't room to dress The tile floors in that area were rough and held dirt. There was hair and dirt in the corners. The bottom of the door was water damaged and rough and so close to the floor that the floor towel wouldn't stay in place when you opened the door. The sink area was small and there was no place to hang a bath towel except over the shower curtain or a tiny bar just below the clean towels (maybe room for one damp towel.) The hook for the back of the door was broken off. There was no shelf and only a small counter around the sink. It might have been reasonable for just my husband and myself, but with two grandkids, it was challenging. I would never stay again and would not recommend.

Good value. Vintage motel vibe. Kind staff. Waffle House and Mexican food both great. Beds very hard. Pillows lumpy. People above us loud at 6 am. People talking outside our window late at night. Overall not much sleep. Pool was cold despite being in heat wave still too cold to get in. Not a walkable area. Wanted a decent cup of coffee. Nothing near by to walk too. It’s right off freeway so rooms facing it would be loud

Nice staff

I love this place!! We stayed here 20 years ago for our honeymoon and come back for our anniversary trip. Still a GREAT place to stay. We ate at both the Amigo and Waffle stop, great food and great prices. The facilities all worked, the room was clean and parking is close.

I love this place. I travel a lot, and every time I go to San Diego I stay here. The staff at the front desk make you feel like family from the get-go. They are so sunny and kind, and go out of their way to be excellent. Highly recommend Kings Inn!

The property is very well located to take advantage of all the sights and venues of San Diego. It has a very nice pool and spa. The breakfast restaurant is very good.

A wonderful experience from start to end! Front desk staff were friendly, personable, helpful and informative. Room was so cute! Retro, but perfectly clean, fresh, and attractive. Well appointed room and bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying longer some other time.

Clean room would stay again

Clean room/property. We enjoyed that it felt in the middle of our itinerary spots, also enjoyed the clean pool on the hot days. Staff was friendly, and recommend the waffle spot in house! Also a libation store about a 4 minute walk next door. :)

Our stay was excellent. The front office staff was excellent. The room was clean and updated. The only thing I would add is hooks in the bathroom for clothing. Other than that it was wonderful and will stay there again.

It’s very close to old town. So if you don’t want to drive to that area you can take an uber. Two restaurants on site, The food was delicious to say the least.

Had a couple issues but the staff was there immediately. Property and room was very clean. Our room had no carpet so you could see it's clean. Liked the decor. The waffle Spot was sooo good and service was awesome! Wear your eating pants! Great place to take kids.
