WorldMark San Diego - Balboa Park

We enjoyed the central location of the property, close to Balboa Park, Gaslamp district and the waterfront. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with a nice kitchen area.

The rooms were perfect, well maintained and comfortable. The only issue was the air conditioner, very loud. My earplugs worked great, but my husband said it was distracting. It was nice to have a refrigerator, tiny stove, and microwave. The location was wonderful. The weather was very hot and humid, so we discovered that Lyft offered inexpensive rides to places where we wanted to go. Parking was convenient, and with Lyft, so much less stressful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel stay was sweet! It's not very large and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I loved the valet parking- only $25 per day, and the valets were prompt and helpful even when I came and went 3 times a day. The hotel is near major roads so I could easily drive to beaches, or SDSU or anywhere. AND, I was able to use the washer and dryer for free. This was a very pleasant stay. Oh, there is also a roof top lounge area- very nice!

Just a great overall experience. Location and the newly designed rooftop was a awesome addition.

Elevator broke, they only have 1. We were stuck on it. Had homeless throwing stuff at windows, ours being one of them. $800.00 came up missing , housekeeping ignores your do not disturb sign and just walks in. TV never worked, the wifi is terrible. They still use chrome cast, dont even have smart TVs. 2 cups of milk was 6 dollars. Construction and painting at 7am til 5pm(scratching and banging outside my door) Kids and people stomping above and below us the entire time The fire alarm at 1 am, 2 am 8 am and 830 am because they didnt put an out of order sign on the elevator. They waited for it to get stuck 4 different times before they put a sign on it.

Everyone there was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect for us and the location was perfect for everything we needed. Thank you can't wait to stay here again

The room was fine, I used the hotel for business and they require $10 a day for WIFI and I couldn't acquire a receipt from the front desk and the service did not provide through e-mail., little frustrating at check out. Wasn't clear that the WIFI was an extra fee

First time visiting San Diego for a getaway trip on our Anniversary week. Enjoyed our stay and the weather turned out very good. Older brick building that used to be an apartment complex. Very nice rooms w/ full kitchen and in great condition. We only spent two nights here, since we were on our way up the coast on our trip. Lots of things to do near the hotel.Ask about the city trolley tours.Enjoyed the on and off tour of old San Diego and waterfront.

The hotel does a good job of being welcoming. Little gifts and themes are presented. There is a timeshare presentation presented optionally for an opportunity for a free ticket to attractions. There is no free WiFi There is no daily housekeeping There is no free breakfast

The property was lovely and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location of the property was also good, close to most attractions. Unfortunately, around the property there were too many homeless people, leaving us slightly uncomfortable when walking in the evenings.

Downtown and convenient to everything. Very close to the zoo

The hotel was centrally located, close to many restaurants. Within walkable distance to downtown and Petco park, the bay, USS Midway Museum and Balboa Park. Room was very spacious, it included a kitchen and full size fridge, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and even dish soap and a sponge. The only negatives I found were lack of parking space (had to park off street and there was barely any spaces available). I had to park a block away and pay $8 for every 12 hours of parking. They also didn't have a pool nor did they offer breakfast. The rooftop terrace had an amazing view and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine (we were there on our honeymoon).

Great property, very clean and staff is extremely polite and attentive!
