The hotel is conveniently located. Bus 22 stops right outside. The room is small but clean.
-
Convenient location and staff are very helpful! We’ve stayed many times and will be back!
-
Room was ok, bath was very clean, but ventilation isn’t as good as I would wish. Bed sheet may need to changed more often.
-
In a good location but not the cleanest. Some of the towels and linen were stained or dirty. Window cannot be opened in a reasonable manner. Bathroom was nice and good customer service.
-
Great for solo travel, basic necessities. Not great if you have multiple luggage’s cause elevator was out, only stairs.
-
Needs a lot of refurbishment but it was good enough for a place to sleep and convenient safe location

The property is in a great location, close to cafes, restaurants, and small bodegas, and just a few blocks from the Painted Ladies and bus stops. The room is small and outdated, as is the building itself; the most modern part of the room was the bathroom. The room was clean enough, but some maintenance is urgent, especially the electrical outlets, the AC, and the windows, which should block street noise better. The receptionist was very friendly and provided all the information we needed. There is a free coffee machine at the entrance, and the room has a microwave and a fridge. Overall, you get what you pay for. It was a good experience considering there is no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up to the top floor. Overall, a good choice for the location. No AC in the room.

So great! Very helpful clean room.

Close to YCSF hospital No parking and no elevator. Old and shabby

Staff was great, remodeled bathroom was nice despite the tiny sink. Bed was not comfortable and the sheets were scratchy. The hallway looked like it was in the titanic (leaning)

If you don’t have hot water, you need to speak up for yourself because she thought I was lying since I was the only person to complain about not having hot water, but I talked to four other people that were staying there that night and they didn’t have hot water either. Move to ask me why I didn’t come downstairs at 4 o’clock in the morning to complain about hot water after I was just at work for 13 hours.

Was not a fancy room, but the location is incredible, the staff was very friendly, and it was great for the price. I would stay here again, i think other people may struggle with the spring mattresses. Also note that there is no safe in the room or inside the door deadbolt.

Clean room. Good staff. Parking was kind of far but we walked everywhere anyway

The location was great. The facility was clean and safe. It was near public transportation and walking distances to restaurants.
-
Excellent location, very central and with public transport right on the hotel's street. The room, although small, has a large, comfortable bed and a private bathroom. There was nothing that I particularly disliked.

The location of Casa Loma and the affordable price is the big draw, but people should be aware that rooms can be very noisy at night since you can hear traffic outside even with the windows closed and you can hear other visitors walking around upstairs. Also some rooms are very small. The room was clean though and the front desk staff were very helpful and courteous during this stay, and the big coffee maker is nice too.
