Star Motel

The hotel was located in a great area and was clean. The room was small and there were no amenities to speak of.

had some minor issues with the TV but other than that pretty decent motel for the price. I can't rave about the vending machines but the parking was great and the staff helpful.

Excellent little motel, in a perfect location. Free Car parking was a bonus. We left our car there and used the public transportation to get around which was excellent. Beds were comfortable and rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. The staff members at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

Parking was reliable and room was clean.

It's a great motor lodge with a funky feel. I enjoyed my stay. I paid $500 for my room, which I felt was overpriced.

Everything was good place to stay Nothing

Rooms are EXTREMELY small and compact. Due to its location the noise was deafening causing sleep hard to come by. If you are looking for quiet, this is not your place.

The room was a little tight space but for the price I would say it’s still worth it. Very nice and clean, staff was very helpful and the gated parking was definitely a plus. Would definitely stay here again

Clean room, great parking spaces, great coffee in the lobby!

Very clean, upscale amenities - steamer, toiletries - and fun hop/retro vibe. Good coffee options. Nice staff. Plenty of towels. Central location. Pillows weren’t great, no real drinking water options except tap, unless I missed something.

Clean bedding and plenty of towels. Separate soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers in bathroom were nice smelling. We found ample parking although property indicates sometimes not the case. Noisy location just street traffic not guest noise. Suggest bring ear plugs. Was quiet just before midnight until about 6am. Motel has pay washer and dryer available which was a surprise. Offers service push button coffee in lobby. Can tell they take pride in property - has 2 fountains in parking lot! Property looks to have been updated with updated bathrooms and built in furniture. Heater worked. Helpful staff and very kind. Would have been 5 stars but shower and floors could have been cleaner. Only needed to stay 1 nite but would stay again for convenience of location. Street parking would be not advised due to smash and grabs in SF.

Small but well accommodated, doors are loud and creak, parking is ample and it’s a nice spot for the price.

This place was great! They did a wonderful job refurbishing an old school motor lodge. It has everything you need for an easy stay in San Francisco at a great price. My family lives nearby and I’ve told them that everyone should stay here instead of the Marriot. It’s so cute and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The room is cozy, but in great shape with nice amenities.

Loved the coffee in the main office in the morning. Free onsite parking was a huge convenience. Great location. Our room had a little road noise but nothing terrible. I’ll go again. Great little motel.
