Amazing Staff, Excellent Service, and a Fantastic Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From check-in to check-out, our stay was nothing short of fantastic! The staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. A very special mention goes to the Filipino gentleman at the front desk (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name!). You were simply outstanding! Your warmth, friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel so welcome. You truly represent what excellent customer service is all about! This hotel also holds special memories for me, as I last stayed here 10 years ago with my husband. Returning this time with my youngest daughter made the experience even more meaningful and special. It was wonderful to experience such exceptional hospitality once again, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be back again next year! Highly recommended! ❤️

Property and rooms were beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Staff was very helpful. The "everything button" on our phone did not work so we were unable to call for assistance, had to go down to lobby. Love love love the exotic coral bath products and the naked experience bedding and amenities. The fragrance in the lobby is sickly sweet and unpleasant. Wish we could cast from cell phone to the TV. We were able to login to YouTube from the guide menu of the TV to watch videos. Union Square area did not feel safe or inviting. Appreciated the free refillable water bottles and the ice water and cookies offered in the lobby.

Very clean and modern rooms with helpful staff!

We stayed for one night. We had settled in and Our A/C didn’t work; it was leaking and that should have been our first indication of a red flag. Didn’t cool at all and room stayed at 73-77 all night.

We had an amazing 5 night stay and loved San Francisco. Staff were always kind, helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean. Would definitely book a StayPineapple again. 💕

We absolutely loved our stay at Staypineapple in San Francisco! From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with such a stylish and unique interior. There are so many lovely details throughout the hotel, and it has a really welcoming and fun atmosphere. Our room was lovely too, and the bed deserves a special mention. It was honestly one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in! After busy days exploring San Francisco, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. Every staff member we met during our stay was so polite, friendly and lovely. They were incredibly helpful and always kept us informed with any updates whenever we walked through the door. Our room cleaner was particularly lovely; she was so bubbly and welcoming, and every time we passed her, she greeted us with a wonderful smile. She was always so friendly and made us feel really welcome. You have some truly fantastic people working here; they’re a real credit to you! The location was also perfect for us, making it really easy to get around and explore San Francisco. We loved being able to come back to such a comfortable and beautiful hotel after a day out. Overall, we had an absolutely brilliant stay and would happily stay here again. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, incredibly comfortable beds and a fantastic location. What more could you ask for? Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable! The only slight negative was that the room was a little on the small side compared to other hotels we have stayed in. However, honestly, this was such a minor thing and did not take away from our experience at all. Everything else more than made up for it.

We always love to stay at Stay Pineapple. Great location, nice rooms when a bit small though but that‘s San Fran, very comfortable beds, easy check-in/check-out and super nice staff! Due to provider switch, Tav and WiFi was not working which was unfortunate but we got refunded for the inconvenience.

Jaime H, host—checked me in, went above and beyond. He made sure I was taken care of. He made me feel very welcomed and he also made sure I was aware of all amenities, parking and local things to do around the area. Such good vibes. I will be staying there again.

I regret making this hotel reservation on Expedia. One of my worst travel decisions to date. The location is easy to find but parking doesn’t appear to be. Our room wasn’t ready early so we had to wait until the standard 4p check in time. When we were checking in there were signs up saying the hotel management was upgrading WiFi services for a better stay experience. There was no mention that the WiFi was out, as was the television which is linked to the WiFi. There was only one helpful staff person who was honest on our second day the WiFi was down and they weren’t sure when it would be working again. The hotel is updated but the walls and doors are very thin so you literally hear everything inside and outside. There is a music venue next door so expect to hear music in your room as if you were next door. Thank goodness they only played until about 9p. There is no onsite restaurant or room service. In fact, I’m not sure what the $42 a day amenities charge is for, as they have absolutely no amenities. SFO has plenty of options for lodging. Don’t stay here. It’s not fun. It’s not a value.

TV still not working (but here - we didn’t say anything the first night) 4. club next to the hotel was extremely loud —> we’ve got a different room which was extremely small Third night We simply accepted it.. But then afterwards I’ve got 5 charges on my credit card and hotel charged double the price in total. I’ve got told that there were two bookings from booking.com and I was simply shocked. We’ve exchanged emails several times until they refunded 3 days later. But first I’ve got told that I made two bookings. 3 days of my holiday were simply messed up due to this situation. I would never go to staypinapple anymore nor would I recommend it. It is nice that you put so much effort in your brand with the pineapple but if the basics are not working, the hotel guest will rather be disappointed.

The property is beautiful and had the most amazing bedding. Our arrival was late and the doors were locked and no one was at the front desk for ten minutes, but after someone arrived to let us in and made up for their absence with an anniversary gift, all was good.

Lovely hotel with a convenient location in SF. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay, but had a couple of very inconvenient issues with our room: no WiFi in our room. We reported the issue and a hotel trouble-shooter came promptly. Unfortunately the router box needed rebooting and it was in the room next door, so they were unable to help us. The GFI button in our bathroom continually shut down all the lights in our bathroom - easily fixed but a real hassle.

It was clean and elegant. They provided a dog bed. The covers/sheets were amazing and ultra comfortable. No parking provided in a difficult area. No change available at front desk. Very noisy street. I don’t think it could be avoided.

Rooms are quite small but very comfortable. Good location for an easy walk to union sq.
