Modern, clean, and well equipped hotel The hotel is very close to a deprived and unclean area unfortunately a lot of homeless, it was advised not to turn left out the hotel for example

The place was nice. I would say the area was a bit scary for my wife. There were armed guards Area seemed sketch

Lovely hotel, lovely rooms as long as you don't mind bare concrete walls. I liked it. Breakfast Monday to Friday was not what was expected at all and all though enjoyable and tasty it's a shame the full cooked breakfast is only available on the weekend at the rooftop restaurant. This breakfast was amazing. The food they serve at this rooftop restaurant for dinner was also amazing. What we didn't like was after 4 days I asked if we could have our room cleaned and bed changed as we're going out and we hadn't had one yet we don't expect it every day and put the no service required sign on the door till we are ready for fresh towels and bedding this is just how we are on holiday . Well we got back early afternoon and it still wasn't done and we were in the room chilling when the lady came to do it which was awkward. We did get new towels but we watched in amazement as she then made the bed up without replacing the sheets and pillow cases. The hotel also charges a tax $40 a night and said you get $15 of that per day to spend in the hotel just sign your name. We thought we would use the $90 earned over 6 days towards a nice rooftop restaurant meal. Only on checkout after we left did I realise they took $15 off the bill not the full $90. There was no mention from reception we had to use the $15 each day. Emailed to ask for a refund with absolutely no response at all from the hotel. Which was disappointing. That's all. San Fransisco was absolutely lovely

Easy Valet and check in. Beautiful, new, clean room, very modern. Secure hotel, although on the edge of the Tenderloin area. Typical city outside noise can be heard from the room. Nice coffee shop. Rooftop bar & food was great, fair prices. However, the hours being limited was disappointing. Not open past 2pm on Sundays. It would have been nice to watch the 49er game up there. Also, closes at 1030pm on a Saturday night, was not able to enjoy a nightcap on the roof. Otherwise, nice hotel.

We enjoyed our room and wished we would have checked out the bar as well as breakfast. Friendly staff as well! I would absolutely stay here again!
-
facilities were top notch we found the staff at check-in was quite rude/passive, also the location didn’t feel the safest - although there’s security at the entrance, there was still an abundance of homelessness in the area
-
This sits right in the Tenderloin. Open drug use, screaming and mobs of homeless people surround you, at all times. The area is very sketchy. The hotel itself is ok. Lobby area 6/10, room. 7.5/10.

We loved this hotel! Nicely decorated, clean, roomy. Staff is incredibly nice. Every single staff member we spoke with, including the Security, were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in the Tenderloin, so you will see some crazy things outside your window. It was amazingly quiet - the windows and the walls are almost totally soundproof! No traffic noises at all! We always felt safe standing outside with the Security personnel handling any drama. This is not a neighborhood you want to walk at night, but there is a really close BART stop less than a block away and Uber/Lyft are plentiful. The mini fridge is not stocked so you can actually use it for your delicious leftovers and drinks. The coffee maker in the room makes delicious coffee, too! We would definitely stay here again. Would bot recommend bringing young children due to the very rampant drug use viewable out yoir window.

I was in San Francisco for work and booked Timbri Hotel at the last minute. The surrounding area was my biggest concern. Being near the Tenderloin, I personally did not feel comfortable walking outside, and seeing three security guards stationed in front of the hotel did little to ease that feeling. Check-in was okay. The room had a stale odor when I arrived, but it became more tolerable after I plugged in an air freshener. Honestly, the best part of my stay was the shower. The water pressure was excellent. Would I stay here again? Only in an emergency. While the shower was a highlight, the room’s initial odor and my discomfort with the surrounding area would keep me from choosing this hotel again.

Carpet was dirty, location did not feel safe at all, we arrived late from are flight and drove to the hotel and the street was very uncomfortable same as the morning when left did not feel comfortable at all could here all the people out side yelling and screaming

Rooms are nice Charged $500 fee for smoking when I don't smoke. Front desk staff clueless about room amenities.
