Castillo Inn at the Beach

The hotel is in a good neighborhood walkable to many restaurants, beach and pier. The room was fine and clean.

We had an unexpected delay and therefore a late arrival. I notified the staff and they made every effort to make sure we were able to check in and receive our room keys without a problem.

Very walkable and convenient to the beach and funk zone It was a little spendy.

The room was spacious, and well laid out for convenience. The staff was fabulous however they closed at 9:00 which is understandable, just not ideal. Parking was doable just a smaller parking lot. It was definitely a boutique style inn. It was close to the beach, and walkable to eateries and not too far from the funk zone and the lower end of state near the pier. It is definitely a place I would recommend!

Great location, walkable to everything. Balcony was lovely with a nice view of the park opposite. Great communication with the hotel staff.

Good location near the beach. It’s an older property which for the most part has been nicely kept up. Room seemed a little dank. The carpet was old and did not seem at all pristine. If they replaced the carpet with tile the room would have been perfect.

In town for Jack Johnson. Loved the hotel and air conditioning!
