The Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe is in a great location, very close to the Plaza, shopping, and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great. The hotel has a charming southwest rustic vibe. Because it’s an older property, you have to accept the HVAC quirk (only heat or ac depending on the time of year). The bathroom is large but there was an awkward step up to get into the tub/shower.

Very convenient location and nice rooms. Beautiful boutique Hotel

Great location for downtown walks. Staff was friendly Room was clean and comfortable The price was, in my opinion, way too much for what you got. I have a mystery billing that I’ve messaged the hotel about (twice) and I still haven’t received an answer. I would not stay there again, there are better hotels with much lower rates nearby

Very nice and good locstion

Location is great Room door was first floor but had a flight of stairs to go into the room, being a senior, I found that a little uncomfortable

Beautiful hotel of southwestern feel and the rooms reflect that. I love southwestern vibes and this hotel has everything it reflects Santa Fe. Its location being so close to the famous Plaza is perfect. The hotel has underground parking but it’s really tight, highly recommended for small cars. With one elevator going to the main lobby from the garage and the rest are stairs, getting to the room is tricky because of your luggage, pack light. The on site bar has great drink selection and makes delicious wood fire pizza. Overall, the hotel is awesome and it’s highly recommended.

Great spot. Classic Santa Fe experience.

Broken tiles on the floor next to the bathtub my only complaint.

Highly recommend! Close to most Santa Fe attractions and restaurants and liked that our room had access to balcony area with our own little table and chairs to sit and read. Lovely!
-
Wonderful location and Southwest atmosphere. The sitting area in the room is a real bonus, beds are super comfortable and the crisp sheets were fantastic.

Great location. Decent rooms.

Friendly staff. We stayed to enjoy Santa Fe after attending the apprentices opera north of Santa Fe. Museums were excellent. This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this hotel.

I arrived late a night after a 10 hour drive and the girl at front desk was not helpful and seemed inconvenienced because I asked for someone to help with a bag. I told hotel ahead of time I was traveling with a service dog and they placed me in a room where i not only had to walk up an outdoor flight of stairs but I had to walk up an interior flight inside my room! the door to the actual room could barely open and allow me to stand at bottom of staircase but my 120 pound dog got stuck in between door and stairs with me twice. When I called before even checking in the same girl told me just park out front and come to check in. I dragged all of my bags to front desk and then she said drive around the block and park in an underground garage and walk back! My normal hotel that I stay in was booked hence why I stayed here. The window locks were also broken so the window could not be opened. It was an absolute nightmare and I spend the remainder of my evening strategizing how I was going to get myself, my dog and my bags out of the dump at checkout. Management should be ashamed of themselves.

We were so appalled at the condition of the room and premises that we left right away, we didn't stay a single night and we have yet to receive any refund from this hotel. The room looked like it was 1980 and there was a huge puddle of water in front of the door from the recent rain. We had to drag our suitcases to the room. It looked nothing like the pictures. I feel cheated and frankly robbed since we haven't got a penny back and we didn't stay a single night. The receptionist was clear that we were checking out 5 minutes after we checked in, yet we got an email 3 days later asking us to rate our stay. It didn't happen, nobody should stay at this hotel for the outrageously high rates, higher than Hilton, yet terrible, absolutely terrible accommodation offered for this price.

Conveniently located in town. Sister properties have pools and spa facilities. The restaurant at the hotel is very charming- we did not eat there but wished we had. A breakfast service would be great but they did provide coffee and fruit in the AM, which was nice.

Nice check-in process
