Breakfast provided was excellent in choice & service

The Inn on Alameda is conveniently located within walking distance to Santa Fe Old Town Plaza. The room (131) was lovely & very comfortable, however it backed Joe's Tequila Bar, which remained noisy until 11pm. I was not informed of this when I booked through Expedia. I felt it was way overpriced for the location on the bar's patio.

Exceptional

The Inn in the Alameda was amazing. Beautifully maintained grounds and a clean, comfortable room. We were lucky to be staying when they were celebrating 40 years of business by one owner. Breakfast was over the top with their in-house chef. Conveniently located near the historic district. Their courtesy vehicle was a total surprise, like having our personal shuttle! Special shout out to Rachel, Maryel, and Kaitu for making our visit unforgettable! Everyone working here seems to truly love being there.

Great breakfast!
-
Great location. Breakfast was good--lots of options. Room was clean. There were a few small issues that did not impact us and the front desk had them addressed.

Check-in was smooth. Room was clean. Location was convenient for walks to the main square. Breakfast was exceptional. There were options for meat selection. I prefer Turkey sausage. There were options for milk/creamer for coffee. I prefer soy/almond/oatmilk. Thank you for the healthy choices.

breakfast was very good it was a little bit out of the way but the shuttle was convenient the rooms were dark and the lighting wasn't very good. the full length mirror was inside the bathroom, should be outside of the bathroom. we booked two rooms and only one had a refrigerator

The hotel grounds were pretty but if you’re looking for a comfortable room with a decent bathroom this isn’t the best choice. Our bathroom was extremely small. There was no room for toiletries anywhere and it was very old. The bedroom wasn’t much better. It was packed full of furniture leaving little room for suitcases or anything else. An old sofa blocked most of the French doors that supposedly opened onto a private patio. There was no place to hang clothes and the air conditioner was actually an evaporative cooler that had no thermostat to regulate room temperature so it either had to be on or off. In addition, all of the windows were nailed shut so we couldn’t enjoy the night air. I suppose we could have opened one of the French doors behind the couch, but then you’d have bugs flying into the room. For the price, I’d take my money elsewhere.

Quaint, beautifully landscaped and a fantastic complimentary breakfast. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Inn was within walking distance to several galleries, historic sites and downtown shops. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.
