The most hospitable place in Savannah

Very stylish property, top to bottom. We enjoyed the rooftop, and the design details of the historic building. Staff are friendly. Overall a comfortable and convenient stay. The pillows are enormous, which looks nice, but not super comfortable. The bed seemed very used, for a one-year-old hotel (uneven) - luckily it was huge as well. Sound insulation was excellent, as were the blackout curtains. The room had a couple areas that could have been cleaned better. Unclear if the water is safe to drink. The bar prices are high compared to the surrounding area.

A nice hotel in the center of everything Savannah has to offer,, Would love to stay there again.

Location, Large Bathroom, Robes, umbrellas The door did not close entirely on its own and had to be pushed or pulled closed. Accidently left open a couple of times.

I had an amazing stay from being welcomed with complimentary cocktails / mocktails to easy explanation of the hotel and amenities.

Great rooms. Great lobby bar. And perfectly located in historical district and close to Plant Riverside.

The hotel is very lovely. Our room felt like a tiny cozy apartment with hardwood floors, quality built in furniture and a spacious bathroom. The location of the hotel was central with walking distance to the river, fun stores, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommend.

This property was so stylish and clean. I was thrilled to finally get to experience it! I was highly impressed with the historical details they managed to keep in their design. So detailed! We have stayed on Broughton St before, and we could barely sleep. This room was exceptionally quiet...no street noise, no hallway noise, and no noise from adjacent rooms. The beds and linens were very comfortable too. I even liked their toiletries! I am usually unable to use anything other than my personal shampoo and conditioner, but their Rosemary Mint products didn't make my hair a dry, frizzy disaster. We upgraded to the King Suite, and I am glad we did because it was a lot bigger than their basic rooms. The pool area was lovely as well. We hung out at the lobby bar one afternoon, and the bar staff was so friendly, and their drinks are creative and just the right balance. If I had anything I would change, it's that I wish they had an ice machine. I am someone who has a Yeti in my hand 24-7, and I love my ice! With Savannah being about 200 degrees every day this summer, a girl needs to stay hydrated! The front desk staff was gracious enough to supply me with ice every day, but I would have liked to have been able to get it myself. Other than that, this stay was perfect!

I would not call this place a 5 star. It’s good hotel but 4 star is an appropriate rating at best

As a discerning traveler I was very pleased with the hospitality at this property. I called for ice many times and used the pool area on 2 weekend days. Everyone was friendly and attentive with reasonable wait times for my orders and requests. Branding is great so the vibes feel nice. I’ll be back!

Amazing staff, great food, and perfect location.

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. Fantastic location in the heart of the Historic District. We didn't rent a car because there was no need to. The hotel had great retro decor and the roof top pool was nice and not crowded. We loved our time at Municipal Grand and can't wait to go back.

What a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable with beautiful design. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and check in was a breeze. The bar was gorgeous and the cocktails were made perfectly. The only thing that could have been better was the pool water temperature. It was very very cold so we were unable to use it. That being said the pool area and view from the rooftop is stunning with lots of comfortable seating. Would definitely stay here again.

Gym is limited. Room and bed were great.

This place was a treat! Kerry made our birthday special and everyone was friendly and accommodating. We loved hanging in the basement bar and rooftop pool. Plus our room was spacious and we enjoyed the tub. Flawless!
