Hotel Sorrento

Classic old hotel with a beautiful lobby, bar and relaxing area in front of the fireplace and what not. The rooms are fantastic and spacious, and everyone was so helpful…

Great restaurant, elevator broken, nice front desk.

We loved the ambience of the hotel overall. The fireside room was so cozy and the bartender was fabulous. There were some updates that are needed in the rooms. There were no curtains for the windows (only opaque ones that went all the way across). The tv had no streaming capabilities and limited channels. The bathtub had some kind of leak so the entire floor got wet with every shower.

Convenient location, great service

Location was wonderful. Hotel was lovely and the room was very clean and enormous! Bathroom was a bit dated and could use an update but overall it was a charming hotel filled with tons of character. Front desk staff was fabulous at helping me find great walkable restaurants! Wedding venue was gorgeous and the views from the terrace were amazing. Would stay here again!

Hotel Sorrento is absolutely beautiful. It is a 117 years old. The wood work is amazing. We stayed there for two nights. I took my 85-year-old mother to the Seahawks /Chargers game we had an amazing time. Our room was so cozy and pretty the bathroom was all done in marble. I can’t wait for our next adventure in Seattle. We definitely going to stay there again making beautiful memories.

The location and the historic character are the best aspects of this property

Came to town for a conference, and whenever someone asked me where I was staying they always had a story about the time they stayed at the Sorrento: for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, etc. There was a bar mitzvah going on in the Fireside Room when I arrived - I didn't realize then that stories were being made, but now I certainly do! BTW, the Halloween decorations there were outstanding as well - my favorite was the floating witch hats that reminded me of the candles in Hogwarts' Great Hall. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the room was outstanding, and the facilities just oozed history. Details like actual newspapers on the front desk gave me all the feels of stepping back in time without the place feeling dated in a bad way. Just opening the elevator door each day of the week made me smile. I look forward to staying here again when my travels bring me back to this corner of the country, and to hearing more stories like Bellamy's, aka "Feathers."

Beautiful experience! There’s no fan and hard to open the window in the washroom but still it was okay :)

The Sorrento hotel is a beautiful older hotel with amazing woodwork in the downstairs area as well as modern conveniences like USB hook ups and dimmable lighting. The hotel definitely has the feel of old world quality from a time gone by. We really liked the monogrammed robes in the bathroom area and the bars and restaurants have excellent quality. The only thing I might add was some additional hooks in the bathing area for clothes and damp towels, and the towels could have been a little bit nicer. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel and you will not regret staying there!

Beautiful historic hotel The rooms were exceptional and bed is as good as I have slept in. Excellent staff and very helpful. Great spot if you're taking the train

A grand old property...beautiful

Cool unique place to stay. Very clean…like the bottom of my socks were clean! Clean. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Staff was very friendly and helpful about everything. Bar was fun. Location is not near touristy downtown like the Pike’s Place and the waterfront but you can walk but it is uphill coming back. Will definitely stay again!

Love the front desk crew, valet crew, fireside crew, housekeeping crew and room service crew. Literally the best of the best.

Richard, Delores and staff were very friendly and helpful. When making my booking online I had put in a request that I was coming for a celebration of my graduation and if they could put a note or something to say congrats. They decorated my queen room beautifully!! I definitely felt like a queen and woke up like one when staying there. Thank you everyone for your service! Will definitely come back for more occasions or to relax :3 and the fact they are pet friendly as well is a bonus!!
