Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle by IHG

I felt so safe and loved this room. It felt like I was just in a nice bedroom. Cozy, clean and nice. Lots to do in walking distance

The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic, but several other things were suboptimal. There were no instructions at check-in that you need to use your digital room card to summon an elevator. The room phone was dead. One of the elevators was stuck with all floor buttons pushed and a buzzing sound emitting, that the front desk knew nothing about when I reported it. At departure, while I was at check out, the car valet did not give my husband my car key, which we only realized when we pulled over 30+ miles later, and when I called the hotel, and after my key was eventually located, the manager said we would be charged a fee to mail it to me! I pointed out the fault was their’s, and only then he waved the mailing charge.

I love staying at Kimpton hotels and have stayed at Hotel Monaco before. Not sure if it was where my room was located on the floor I was on, but I could hear more hallway noise overnight (mainly doors opening and closing) than I’m used to and this cause sleep disruptions.

The property was beautiful and the staff was great. However, my air conditioner was not working properly for 4 out of 6 nights. I received a fan, which helped, but I couldn’t get it cooler than 73-75 which is too warm for my taste for sleeping. Also, half of the television options were not available due to a weak signal. Bummer for the couple of days I wanted to veg out in the room. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay, but probably would select a different hotel at the same price point.

very sweet staff and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the parking was easy but the signs to where to park blend in with the street that you can miss it.

Stunning property, and I would absolutely stay here again. The people went above and beyond. While I was finding my way around the property, one person walked me directly to where I needed to go. Another time, someone got me to the location and also brought in someone who could help me work through the logistics of the room. The happy hour was a pristine setup with delicious food, the kind I've become accustomed to with this brand. I was upgraded to a suite at check-in. That said, a few things didn't work during my two nights. The TV didn't work, and neither did the cooling. My room service breakfast sandwich also arrived cold, which I didn't expect. I'd still come back.

The staff was attentive and friendly. The room was clean comfortable. The only issue was the room got hot at night and we were unable to adjust the thermostat.

Overall nice stay……although the greeting front desk staff was nice, it would’ve been great to be for-warned that the TV’s only had 2-4 stations as none were connected to a network and their AC chiller was on the fritz!!! Room was HUMID! When I went down to front desk to mention the concerns, they gave me a restaurant credit and removed all of the facility fees etc. Had I not complained I doubt nothing would’ve been done. A few more 21st century amenities like smart outlets would be an added plus.

Very nice hotel and a good value. Had everything we wanted and needed. A good restaurant, clean, updated rooms and nice extras. Coffee in the lobby in the morning, daily happy hour, etc. and a good, central city location.

Very nice hotel with a great staff. Coffee in the room and downstairs was truly awful. I actually went and bought coffee at a nearby store. That said, the fries in the Marin restaurant were fantastic and good pours on the wine. They also have a daily wine and app at 5pm that's free. The front desk was always super helpful and I would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were clean and decent size.

Beautiful property in a good location. Everything was clean and had a cool, stylish design. Happy hour was a nice touch and everyone was very nice and helpful.

Nice convenient place

We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton. The location was excellent—within walking distance of Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and the monorail to the Space Needle. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. A great location and a very pleasant stay.

Great staff- at reception and valet parking Professional and welcoming Nice at the end of a long day!
