Very nice, basic hotel with great location on the Avera hospital campus.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Needed to change rooms because our toilet overflowed. Also, the carpets had been cleaned recently and were damp. Breakfast was undesirable. Yogurt was the only redeeming feature. Stale donuts, day old bread, packaged oatmeal, and weak coffee rounded out the selection.

We gave it a 3 based on 3 things 1) dirty carpet 2) broken furniture 3) broken outlets by the bed, so little access to plug ins for phones. The bed was comfy & clean Bathroom was clean as were the towels. TV worked flawlessly The dirty carpets are really a downer when you're in your bare feet, I mean really!!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room clean and comfortable. The inside was modern and surprisingly nice for the age of the building.

We needed help but no one answered the phone and there was no one at the desk. The road was closed so we asked directions to get out but she offered no help. The room was not very clean. We received no help with the TV. When we went to check out there was no one at the desk. So we just left the keys. We brought our own cleaner to clean the room as needed.

Everything was great staff was great everything was clean

Very old property that has not been well maintained

Road construction on the road leading to the hotel made it hard to even figure out how to get into the hotel and where to park! The TV also wouldn't stream any programs from start to finish until the morning after we checked in. So much deferred maintenance I was afraid to use the rough-looking shower. The best thing about our stay was that it was just 1 night!

This is a great little hotel located close to downtown. Bed was comfortable everything was clean and a nice breakfast.

Room was dated. Staff was very nice and helpful. It was connected to the hospital, made an early morning check in so easy.

Very helpful staff. If staying with a pet, make sure you note that & follow up. Right next to hospital- great if you’re having a medical procedure or just need a place to sleep. A bit out of the way of downtown if you don’t have a vehicle.

Nice property,but a challenge to get to with the construction. The a/c unit was loud and then add in the helicopter flights, it was a challenge to sleep.

Very convenient location to Avera McKennan, walking distance, comfortable, quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for accommodations close to the hospital.

Facility was a little difficult to get to due to construction in the area and poor signage. The first room assigned had a very strong moldew odor. Staff was quick to change to another room which was fine. That room was clean and comfortable. There was a small breakfast bar which was adequate. Motel is located on a hospital property and would be convenient for families of patients at a reasonable cost but was not real convenient for other activities in the area.

The motel was very nice in all aspects.

It was clean but the cleaning product/air freshener smell was over powering. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was fine.
