La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Detroit Southgate

The place needs a refresh. Clean but kind of worn out. We were only there over nite. The TV didn’t work. The guy on the desk was pleasant.

A clean establishment with very helpful staff.

I recommend this establishment - clean and great hospitality. And most of all, it brings in great people who are hospitable as well; a friendly environment for individuals, families, and for business and leisure.

The property was ok but very basic, nothing outstanding. The coffee available for 24 hrs but after the mismo g shift it was not warm.

Nice hotel just right outside of Detroit. The area felt safe and the staff was very friendly.

Location The staff was very rude and would smoke weed at the reception. Banged on the door at 11am for 20 mins on checkout day to ask us to vacate the room. We had already requested late checkout of 12 pm on the day we checked in and they had approved it. Worst.

Love the location close to everywhere we needed to go the lady name Ericka in house keeping us super sweet she always go out her way to make our stay comfortable Had to ask for extra towels and tissue and as always breakfast sucks nothing hot but waffles and coffee but oh well it's free

Hair drier was not working

King size bed and pillows were very comfy Tvs could be a tad bigger with more channels

I have told the hotel my television didn't work for 2 days. It kept shutting off after about one half hour. I had to go to the front desk and get another remote because the one in my room was damaged. I believe I should have gotten a refunded some money that I paid for that room due to the malfunctioning television.

Such a awful experience. Room was filthy. Clothes next to the bed. Obviously not cleaned. TV didn't work.

Rooms seemed improved from last year but could not get hot water in sink a. D bowl was cracked and water did not come out very well. Told receptionist. Hope they fix it only trouble we had.

Location There was dried blood stains on one of the bedsheets and pillowcases A staff worker thought it ok to remake and reuse dirty linens which is heartbreaking. The room was full of stains and chipped paint on the walls and bathroom. This was my first stay at this brand and I felt like I was at a truck stop.

Clean room and great service and friendly staff. Bed was clean but the mattress was a little flat providing less support but it may not be too big deal to people with no back problems. Breakfast was great with waffle stations and basic items like cereal, yogurt and boiled eggs etc. AC can be loud and the room can be muggy but overall I enjoyed the stay.

Ok place, Not as good as other La Quinta Inn I have stayed when it comes to cleanliness and amenities.

Room ilooks very dirty and old.

The elevator smelled. When your at the front lobby all you could smell was cigarettes. Toilet seat was loose and moving side to side. The was stuff in the fridge from previous guest.
