Quiet, cozy, very friendly and laid-back staff; if you're looking for an old-school motel experience, you'll find it here! Comfy mattresses to boot (super important!) - we slept very well after a long day of exploring trails. Highly recommended! Really can't think of anything.

Such a cute "locally owned" motel...no stairs to navigate. Met the owner and just really appreciated the care he gave us. It always feels good to help out the community directly by supporting the folks who live there. Beautiful, refurbished room complete with a really cool "wall heater unit". Love the grounds with all the trees. The mattress was a little sad. Could have used a towel rack or hook for damp towels.

The room is very dated, but that is not the worst part. It smelled bad, perhaps from smokers or pets or both. The bed sheets had white particles and dust, suggesting that it was not cleaned or replaced after the previous guest left. To some extent, it is on me. I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking this place.

Exceptional

The staff was very nice and the location was perfect. Paper thin walls. Gap under the door let ALL the cold air in. Heater came on every three minutes; we turned it down to low and it came on every 4 minutes. No hangers in the closet. Thin blankets that didn't keep us warm.

Disappointing

The guy that rented the room was very friendly the rooms were clean and in a good location. We were looking forward to taking a bath and there wasn't enough hot water to take even a quick shower , there wasn't any coffee in the rooms and there wasn't anyone on the property to help . He did refund me for the second night we planned on staying .

Ground floor level, you can park in front of your room and do not have to walk through an entire building to get to your room. Quit, no one above or under you. The sheets on the bed were very nice satin ones & the pillows were very comfortable. Price is a good value for what you get. Close distance to Northern Quest Casino for concerts. Cabin rooms & bathrooms are small, but if you're just looking for a place to stay for the night, it's perfect. Cabins are old, so the room did have a musty smell upon entering. There were no deadbolts on the doors, so they didn't feel secure. The bed was comfortable, however, the boxsprings were very noisy when sitting or rolling over on the bed, sounding like it may have had plastic on them..

The rooms were cozy with a nice overall atmosphere, the rooms themselves were clean. The lady who checked us in was incredibly nice. In the morning of leaving two employees attempted to enter the room without knocking or any sort of warning. This is just unacceptable.

Mom & Pop Bed moved & shifted. No coffee in room or office in the morning.

Pleasant

The rooms were clean and quiet. The rooms were almost wall to wall windows on two sides looking out to the parking lot. The problem was with almost sheer curtain panels that didn't close all the way. One set had holes in it where previous customers had to tried to close with tacks.
