Fairfield Inn & Suites Strasburg Shenandoah Valley

Clean, upkeep was good, breakfast was very good. Ice machine on our floor wasn’t working but when to the next floor for ice. We loved the Shower.

The room could have been cleaner, the housekeeping went in the room even when the do not disturb card was placed on the door so that was not appreciated. Online the room description was misleading, the studio room was not as described online at time of booking. Refrigerator was small and did not have a freezer but would freeze your items on the top shelf that weren't meant to be frozen. The pool was pretty beat up like it needed a new liner or painted. Most amenities were out of service even most of the ice machines.

Friendly staff at the front desk, clean room, coffee and tea available in lobby all day; breakfast was okay, not great, but better than expected for a continental breakfast Big rip in our curtain; cleaning lady next door was yelling at someone while on a personal call - she sounded very angry and it was disturbing; bottom of the indoor pool was old, cracked up and dirty looking - not inviting; get rid of rugs in rooms and invest in flooring

Convenience First room I was given was occupied. It was 1:30 in the morning. Had it been the wrong person things could be different.

Front desk staff - AWESOME! I needed to speak with someone the day before arrival, and the staff was awesome! Very helpful! On arrival, the same staff member was cordial, friendly, and very efficient! The room was spacious and well equipped, but felt old. It's in need of some updating. The mattress was decent, but not great. The bathtub could also use attention. The morning breakfast was GREAT! A little bit of everything for everyone. An oatmeal bar, waffle station, eggs and sausage, an excellent breakfast! Great location near the expressway, national parks, and historical sites. Overall a nice stay!

Hotel was temporarily out of hot water and we were given the option of cancelling or a discount at check in. AC in the Suite was rather noisy at night. Location was perfect for the Yard Crawl.

The hot water was out over the weekend however the front staff was absolutely amazing. They were very empathetic of the situation and tried everything in the power to help us regardless of the bad news.
