Motel 6 Tallahassee, FL - Downtown

Old run down rooms with roach traps everywhere. Pillows with no pillowcases. Live roaches visible. Quarter inch gap under the door where weatherstripping should have been. Toilet quit flushing in the middle of the night. Would not recommend. We only stayed because we were evacuating from a hurricane and had no where else to go.

This stay was horrible. Room was very disgusting. I had to ask for a cart to clean my own room. No refrigerator or microwave.

Needs remodeling, rooms not clean and no good customer service, they sold my room and had to find me another one

The staff is outstanding, the prices are awesome, the facility is spot on!!

It was straight that’s for people who are trying to save money and place over there heads for a few night really

Lots of activities going on around there. Property is run down, and some fairly sketchy things going on around there. You definitely get what you pay for. No chair in room and the bed was absolutely terrible. 10 out of 10 will not stay again.

The tv. Was broken,ac didn't work properly, bug's and bed-bugs were present, sheets and bathroom was not cleaned....

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We arrived around 2 a.m. after an approximately 8-hour drive from Miami and were exhausted. The room smelled strongly of mold, cigarettes, did not feel safe, and the pillows smelled of body odor, raising concerns about cleanliness. I reported these issues to the motel, and we were shown another room, but that room smelled strongly of marijuana. We ultimately stayed because it was the middle of the night, and we were concerned about finding alternative accommodations at that hour. The experience was unacceptable, and we did not feel comfortable in either room. I would encourage future guests to consider these concerns before booking. Based on our experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

Never stay in room 128! We were staying to escape hurricane Isais. The manager on shift recognized a lot of people were arriving and in need. She kept reminding the cleaning crews to call in rooms as they became available. This was great. The room though was horrible. It was cleaned and had clean sheets. The floor was nasty. It was wet when we arrived and my white socks were black in seconds. The AC was on 60 when we v went in and the room was sweating everywhere from the humidity. I thought turning it to 80 and turning on the heat would help. It did help stop some of the sweat on all the plumbing, mirror and window. When we got back from dinner I turned it back on ac at 70. When we woke up the entire room was a puddle. Not sure if it was from the rain or what. It's obvious the room has had issues. The wood furniture is rotting, the floor molding is peeling from the wall and the room smells like mold. If there wasn't such a long line of people at the front desk I would have tried to get another room. The room next to us had no issues. Happy to have a place to sleep for the night, but wow!

The room was disgusting. It’s like they use mud water to mop if it’s ever been mopped. The whole room was wet. I wiped the wet floor with a towel and it was black from how filthy the floor was. I’m grateful we had somewhere to sleep during a hurricane that took pets but because the floor was so wet and filthy the cats got footprints all over. There was also crumbs all over the counter and in a drawer. Also it said the room slept 5 so I figured there would be a couch but there wasn’t so I had to go get a blowup mattress. Plus side there was no bed bugs. But over all I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Initially the room was clean, but it was missing the refrigerator and chair for the desk. Then roaches in the bathroom and the vynil floors turned my bare feet black. Second day no room cleaning, despite my requests.

I didn’t like nothing about the property it was nasty and the floor was dirty and the bathroom was nasty and what I didn’t like was they had roaches in the room and the WiFi kept going in and out and nobody couldn’t connect because it kept saying we are unable to connect and everytime we call them about the WiFi problem all they could do was write a note about it and then kept hanging up on us everytime we called also so we left cause nothing was right about the property and nothing was getting fixed or solved till the morning

Great room for a small price. Just make sure a game for famu is not going on. You will be in for a big surprise with room cost. Other wise this is a great hotel.

Since it was Parent's Weekend at FSU a lot of folks either didn't have a choice or got bumped here. Several of the other guests I talked to had reservations that were cancelled without notice and this was the only option left in town. I have stayed at other Motel 6 properties before while traveling for work and have been pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. This one was by far the worst. I will say the staff were helpful and Ms. Rosa at the front desk was sweet as could be, otherwise, unless it is a dire need, try elsewhere.

The property was poorly maintained, the housekeeping never once came to our room to change the sheets or give fresh towels and we stayed there 3 nights. I had to ask for everything that we got, nothing was just done as a courtesy. The price was almost 5x the price of a normal stay (and I understand that it was parents weekend and the law of supply and demand, which I am completely ok with, but at least raise the bar for service or cleanliness during the price gouge week, pretend to care). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone (even at the normal price) unless it is an emergency. I know some people will think that I am a disgruntled guest, but this is not the case, I am just saying the truth. Advise to the management, you need to up your service care for your guest.

Terrible maintenance, Assigned room smelled of weed. Only one person at the front desk on a super busy day. Dirty outside of room. Toilet was broken.

There was nothing to like at this property. The property was in bad condition. The room was dirty and the bathroom was a nightmare.
