Ramada by Wyndham Tampa Westshore Airport South

The place was in dire need for improvements. we found out they were shutting the hotel down the end of May. the restaurant was not open. The pool area was not open. Photos made it look like all of that stuff was good to go and could be used. But it wasn't.

Convenient location for my needs..very clean and comfortable bed.

Elevator was down and so was the cafeteria so no breakfast

Very run down. Mold in room.

It took for ever to get checked in. Went to room, there was no sheets or pillows on bed. Room had not been cleaned. Went back to front desk, told then what we found. Front desk person said he didn't have any more rooms with two beds. Asked for money back so we could go some where else. Service desk person said I would have to call Expedia. Called Expedia , told the lady that answered phone about what happened, it seam that she wasn't going to be able to help me. By this time I was so tired and aggravated, I just hung the phone up. One of the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Can I please be refunded my money back ?

Lots of obvious water damage in the room. Definitely an old hotel in poor repair, in a bit of a sketchy area. Would not recommend.

It was quiet (I was away from the street). I felt safe. The bed was comfortable. The fridge worked. The bathroom was u[pdated and partly accessible (toilet and shower yes, sink no). The water in the shower was hot but the pressure wasn't strong. The place seemed a bit run-down. A dresser drawer didn't close. I was content with my stay and sorry to hear that the motel is closing.

It was ok

The toilet didn't flush, the bathtub was clogged and the A/C leaked. The staff were great but the hotel were outdated. The front desk guy were helpful and assigned us another room next day.

The breakfast was not available they say will give a refund wich they write down in a list haven’t received In my statement .

Sorry but very disappointed of this hotel Old construction, old rooms, TV was not working, A/C supposedly in 60F cold but it was only blowing hot air, it felt humid inside the room, sheets had a smell, bathroom tub peeling off, in general pretty bad shape and it wasn’t a cheap price to pay for one night. I sat down in the lobby to wait for my ride and the sofa where I was sitting looked so dirty and smelled. To conclude, I came down around 8:30am and NO breakfast and the staff only said “no breakfast, sorry”. Very, very disappointed. What the owners need to do is tear down the whole building and make a new one, modernize. With this experience I don’t even want to know about Ramada rewards, I will make sure that in the future I don’t book any Ramada Hotel.

The hotel is completely run down. The gym and pool were closed. The breakfast was horrible. I had to pry the elevator doors open multiple times to get out. We never received housekeeping. I had to hunt people down or get towels from the front desk. Ridiculous.

Room was clean. I was disappointed that I had called earlier about my TV not working and they never sent a maintenance person and by 8 PM when I finally got a chance to call back they had to change my room instead of fixing my TV. When my room got changed, the only chair they had in the room was the one at the desk and my other room had like a dining room chair and the desk chair which neither one of those was very comfortable. I was disappointed to find out when I got there that all the rooms access were outside that they weren’t on an inside hallway. They had no breakfast which I was told they had a breakfast and asked for a bar they didn’t have that either they had pops, etc., that you could buy when you came in and they only had one diet pop and they didn’t have very many of those which I was very disappointed in also.

I’m not sure why this hotel was rated decently. It was awful. There were roaches in our room and the staff blew us off and didn’t care. Our toilet was having issues and they had no one to come and fix it. I wouldn’t recommend. Only good thing was that there were no bedbugs.

Easy check in and check out. Staff are friendly. Room is a bit outdated, but serves the purpose.

Very nice Hotel, close to a lot of great restaurants and places to go!
