Hotel Tybee

The hotel is centrally located, pretty much everything within walking distance. Our ocean facing room allowed us to see dolphins and everything going on around us. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The room was just as pictured and very clean. The beach is just a few steps away and the ramps are handicap accessible. The staff was very nice and helpful when we needed extra items. There’s a pier next to the hotel and every restaurant and shop is within walking distance. Amazing place to stay.

The rooms could have been much cleaner. The bathroom had dust bunnies and black stuff along the floor and the bottom of the wall in the corners. The soap and shampoo dispensers had built up crud along the bottom each dispenser nozzle. Housecleaning dropped off clean towels every day but did not make beds nor was there a room cleaning the entire week we stayed. The floors got sandy after the middle of the week. The beach view was great, and the hotel was quiet. But the room could use a thorough cleaning and routine cleaning for people that stay for more than a couple of days.

WiFi was AWFUL that you have to pay for. The rooms were incredibly outdated. Way overpriced. The “amenities” weren’t great. Our room was so dirty upon arrival. The ONLY saving grace was proximity to the beach.

Beach and proximity to restaurants. Beach hotels get a work out. Especially the bathrooms.

This was such a beautiful and wonderful place to stay. The staff is top notch and thankful for how they came through for us. We were midway through our week and left another place in town for a myriad of reasons and Hotel Tybee bent over backwards to get us into a beautiful room that was a huge blessing. Customer service is a priority for HT and I am thankful.

Hotel rooms need upgraded. Room smelled old and musty. Elevator was dirty, pizza and cups inside. We had young kids running through the hall at 2:00 am yelling and laughing. Empty beer cans outside in the front of one of the buildings. Location is great. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone, no. I will not stay there again.

This is our 7th year in a row staying at Hotel Tybee. As usual, everything was perfect

The facility and area itself was amazing!! What was the exact opposite was the manager violating my privacy by allowing the cops in my room for an u lawful search and seizure which led to my arrest.

The staff at this property were great and tried to rectify issues. The bedding and towels - great. The property is in serious need of TLC. It is run down and needs attention.

Clean room, easy, and walkable to places to eat. This was my 3rd stay, brought my family. We enjoyed the easy walk to pier and to the beach.

Pool was cold ,The tiki bar closed ,room was dirty

The location and employees It needs to be updated, but then it would probably be more expensive
