The Deerfield Inn has a great location, close to Mt Snow and Haystack Mtn. The inn was clean, though in desperate need of newer furnishings. The bathroom was clean and seemed newly updated. We felt that the “grounds” were over reported. There was a very small front area and a fire pit that hadn’t been used for some time. What disappointed us the most was, in its website description, the proprietor discouraged guests from bringing their own alcohol into the inn. This was because wine and beer is sold on the premises. Upon arrival, we saw a sign was that clearly stated “no outside alcohol allowed.” We had brought our own-which was really our business. We felt that we were sneaking around and we couldn’t bring a glass to enjoy in the living room. Our host was a very nice and helpful person. He always wanted to be sure we were happy. We didn’t have breakfast in the inn, and parking was close enough.

Everything was perfect. We slept like a baby and it was so relaxing.

A very quaint, cozy inn set in West Dover, Vermont. We had a small room but it was clean and comfortable. We didn't choose to order breakfast while we were there but it smelled wonderful! Oz, the host, was professional, pleasant, and helpful.

Beautiful room in quaint inn with very comfortable bed. Oz, the owner, was an absolute gentleman, kind and helpful.

We returned to this place on a quick 2-day/last minute get away. Owner is new from last time. Nice people; helpful and made a very good breakfast. Only issue we really had was the plumbing. Our room had some kind of venting issue with the sink/toilet/shower. Toilet bubbled and would go down at times; sink would go slow/stop at times; shower also stopped up and went down very slow. Told the owner about it and hopefully they can get it fixed. But overall, pleasant stay.

There was no breakfast available. The bed was old and sank in too much. Not supportive, but not purposely soft. It was just old and worn out.

Very clean

Very friendly and courteous owner, great location 5 mins away from Mount Snow.

We loved thr charm of the quaint Inn. It feels like home when you walk in. The owner was kind and helpful. Having a babbling stream weaving through the small town was also very nice. July is a slow time there. We loved the quiet and privacy but if you want a bustle of human activity it wouldn't be for you.

Stayed here for 2 days in late June. Owner was very kind and helpful. The place is really cool inside.

Very helpful host. Good location. A short bike path for walking. Comfortable beds and room. Be prepared for dogs who bark or whine when left in their pet friendly rooms when their owners go out. Not a fan of the no BYOB rule. Stairs were strep to the upstairs rooms. Overall, a great weekend stay.
