AC Hotel Wichita Downtown

Fantastic place to stay!

Very nice hotel in Downtown Wichita near our venue. Walkable. The room was very posh. Love the decor with the updated amenities and clean. Bed and pillows were comfy, nice quality.

Beautiful hotel in convenient location. Bed was great and loved the pillows. The only negative that I find in other Marriott hotels. The little bottles of body lotion are very difficult to squeeze. Had a great stay.

Exactly what i would expect for a Marriott property. Super happy! That we were only there for one night.

Great location!

Great location, comfy bed and loved the shower. Theres no where to really park so had to do valet.

Beds are comfortable, good wifi At night it is very noisy coming from the street, motorcycles, cars revving the engine and the train a 4 am . Every thing can be heard in the room at the 11th floor. Parking is expensive and small, several times my car has been parked overnight in the street.

Great stay, very clean and comfy! Only thing we found odd was the bathroom light would only turn on if you turned the room lights on. But our stay was phenomenal. Valet attendants were very courteous and nice!

Hotel and room were nice and clean. There were political protesters outside our window early in the morning. People were honking as they were passing. Not the hotel’s fault but annoying.

The hotel is in a good location, and the room was clean. The parking situation isn't great. Long line for valet parking with not many spots available. I had to park on the street and pay through a parking app. Early Sunday morning I was woken by a fire alarm and an announcement to evacuate the building. It was a false alarm. The room is small.

I’m sorry to say that our stay at the AC Hotel Wichita fell well below expectations. Check-in was listed as 3 PM on the website and was also confirmed by the front desk staff. We arrived around 4:15 PM and were told that our room was not ready yet, but that it should only be about a 10 minute wait. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes, we checked back with the front staff and were told the room still wasn’t ready. A few minutes later, we were finally given our room keys. Unfortunately, when we got to the room, the beds had not been made. I tried calling the front desk, but no one answered, so I went back downstairs, only to discover that one of our room keys wasn’t working properly on the elevator. When I explained that the beds were unmade, I was told they were clean, but that housekeeping had been unable to finish making them. Someone was eventually sent up with fresh bedding and remade the beds, which I appreciated. The hotel itself has a lot of character, and the staff members we interacted with were friendly. However, for the price point, the overall experience was disappointing. In addition to the check-in and housekeeping issues, our room was very noisy throughout the night due to street traffic, and there seem to be very little soundproofing. What was most disappointing with that no apology, acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or accommodation was offered despite the multiple issues we encountered. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would be hesitant to return
