Apollo Motel

Superb

Passable

We liked how close to the ocean it was. We didn't like the fact that wildwood was under state of emergency and had to leave a day early and was not offered a refund or discount at all. The room had overwhelming smell of bleach

Pool was lovely Should have had new towels, hand towels and wash cloths.

The location. The stairs. Not goid for haai disappear, and or someone having a hard time climing stairs. Shoukd be a disclaimer.

We were right at the beach Not there fault, but it rained

The hotel was ocean front. The rooms were a great value for a late summer beach trip. Property was smoke free. The room could have been cleaned a little better. Wasn’t dirty but wasn’t super clean either.

I liked that it was so close to the beach. The room was dirty. Crumbs were left on the counter by a previous guest. There were also crumbs on top of the fridge, in front of the microwave. There was an onion peel left in the fridge drawer so long it was wilting. Meanwhile, there was a sign posted on the inside of the room door that if the room was left dirty you'd be charged up to $300 for a cleaning fee. Our last night there other guests were up to 3 am yelling and blaring music, they even sat in a chair right outside of our room and repeatedly banged the chair against our window.

Good

The view of Beach front was beautiful. The bathroom was not clean. Sofa bed was not in good condition

Apollo is a charming Art Deco motel in a great location. We loved the comfortable kitchenette, the barbecue area, and the stunning ocean view from our balcony. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When we found the sofa bed uncomfortable on the first night, the team immediately provided an extra mattress to fix the issue. We had a great stay for the rest of our trip and will definitely be back!! We understand that it's not a new property and furniture renovation is more complicated for 3rd floor. But we enjoyed the view from balcony! So it was our choice ☺️.

Proximity to the beach

Very good

That it’s close to the beach Under the beds we’re dirty the rules for the pool were a little bit much
