Love this hotel! Gazebo bar is cool, rooms are decorated cool, salt and stone toiletries, comfy and safe. Walkable to many restaurants

The property is stylish and the location is fantastic, but unfortunately the service was disappointing. At check-in, the woman at the front desk was dismissive and rude. She told us where to park but never explained how to pay the $15/day fee. That evening we found a citation on our car. We later learned it was only a warning, but this could have been avoided with basic instructions. We also weren’t told that housekeeping only comes by request. Our room did not appear thoroughly cleaned, particularly the floors and carpet. On day two, I specifically asked for someone to vacuum, yet no one came. In three days, our room was never serviced. Garbage overflowing. We ran out of clean towels and toilet paper and had to get them ourselves. The gentleman at the desk was helpful, but guests should be told how things work at check-in. The rooms are beautiful but not practical. There’s no closet, drawers, or coffee maker and little bathroom counter space. The biggest issue is privacy. The entire front wall is glass, so guests must close the blackout curtains completely for privacy, leaving the room dark all day. Sheer privacy curtains would make a big difference. The restaurant was cute and the staff and drinks were wonderful, although the food was mediocre. The location is excellent and walkable to historic Wilmington, restaurants and shops. Great potential, but service and communication need improvement. I was somewhat disappointed, considering the incredible reviews.

Our room was not clean at all. Toothpaste and hair was on the bathroom counter and the floors clearly had not been mopped in a while. It didn’t look the rug had ever been vacuumed. The AC unit barely blew cool air so our room was warm the whole weekend. Not to mention check in started at 3 and at 3:15 our room still wasn’t ready to be check into. Not a great experience at all.

Very unusual facility is it a hotel, motel, bed and breakfast or none of the above. It's different but in a good way. No easy way to describe it except to say if it's convenient to where you want to be you'll be enjoying old world charm.

Everything was by far great. Kevin at the front counter was absolutely one of the best people I've talked to. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the room and the location.

Location, cleaningless Staff could be a little more friendly. Pillows could be better

- No coffee in the room but has extortion prices on garbage drinks and snacks supplied in a cheap fridge. - One chair in room for two people - A package of ear plugs supplied in bathroom area, I guess letting us know it gets noisy - Have to pay for parking, even the hotel parking. Have fun dragging your luggage through gravel and sand, next to shipping containers. Terrible site… - Receptionist made it sound like common knowledge that I needed my license plate number at check-in. - Room does not look like what I reserved. - No elevator, with 3 floors - Thermostat right below air conditioner at the window. It’s somewhat cool in the spot but the rest of the room is humid and warm even when temp is set to lowest setting. Definitely wasn’t 68, more like 78. - You can hear everything the people on the sides and top are doing, especially footsteps - There was a sticky substance all along the bed frame rail - They won’t tell you until you see it on your credit card, but the incidental charge is $100.

Excellent location and staff. The hotel employee that helped check me in went out of her way late at night to make certain that everything I needed was taken care of – absolutely the best!

This is a super cute option for downtown Wilmington. Our room was small but efficient. The restaurant was good too and a great location with off street parking.

The hotel is clean and beautiful, and the location is ideal in the downtown a few minutes by foot from the riverfront. The type of service is mostly self service if you don’t mind that. If you need new towels the next day or bins changed then you need to arrange it yourself and follow through with it yourself. The staff are all very nice and it has an eco hotel vibe, where they leave you to your own devices. The Gazebo bar is great for bespoke cocktails.

There was no coffee maker in the room, although coffee was available in the lobby. The room smelled strongly of smoke throughout the entire night, despite the property having signs stating that smoking is prohibited and subject to a $250 fee. Housekeeping also began looking into the windows as early as 8:30 AM, which felt very intrusive and uncomfortable. They continued until I let them know that I would be in the room until 11:00 AM. The restaurant was closed during my stay, so there was no room service or breakfast available in the morning, reportedly due to an apparent gas leak. Parking was also an additional expense, as only paid parking was available.

Amazing! Can't wait to come back

My husband and I needed a getaway for 3 days from our jobs. Wilmington was on our bucket list. We arrived at the Arrive Hotel on Friday afternoon and check in was a little hard to find though I wish there was a clearer sign on where to go since I was completely lost. But upon check in I was greeted from the young lady at check in super sweet and accommodating on where to park. There is a parking lot available for guest staying at the hotel across the way. Have to pay but it was well worth it. Everything is easily accessible in walking distance in the heart of downtown. The room itself was amazing. Only complaint I had though is during the night we got a bad smell of sulfate from the ac unit it was pretty strong. But didn't complain since it had to be from the rain that occured but we were so worn out from all the activities we just slept thru it. I also wish there was a microwave in the room though. The hotel has housekeeping but must request it. We did and they were quick to deliver. Definitely a must stay for anyone looking for a hotel. My husband and I will be back to stay here. Perk was Carolina Beach wasn't a far drive either.

Great location in a very cool part of town. The room was newly decorated beautifully and comfortable for its size Good facilities on site and heaps of walkable options. Air con works well Only warning many rooms are up lots of stairs and there is no elevator or help if you have heavy bags which is why we chose the ground floor for a one night stay before a flight out.
