LEGOLAND Beach Retreat
About LEGOLAND Beach Retreat
LEGOLAND® Beach Retreat isn't your average family vacation - retreat to this spacious, lake-view resort where the vibe is relaxed and easy and your kids can enjoy more fun in the sun! LEGOLAND Beach Retreat is a non-traditional hotel that features a village-style layout with 83 beach-themed bungalows offering 166 separate rooms, each with whimsical LEGO® décor inside and out. The brightly colored bungalows are grouped into 13 sections, each named after a popular LEGO Minifigure including Shark Suit Guy, Ocean King and Sea Captain. Each centers around an outdoor play area with fun and challenging elements, all within view of the bungalows' shaded private patios, where parents can put their feet up, kick back and relax while kids play. The Lighthouse towers more than 45 feet over the first-of-its-kind vacation resort, a centrally located icon that will be home to Sandy's Castle Restaurant, Brick's Beach Bar, Palm Tree Traders retail store and a giant sandcastle-themed LEGO® building area for kids. The largest themed pool at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort highlights an outdoor oasis filled with a sandy area perfect for building sandcastles and a giant play structure for kids. Around the pool, regular activities will include (as examples) dance parties, bean bag toss, hula hoop contests, volleyball, Red Light Green Light, Hot Potato, chalk art competitions, sandcastle build show-and-tell and “Master Builder” competitions with large LEGO® soft bricks. I loved staying at the Lego Beach Resort, its more affordable than the other two Legoland Hotels and honestly we got all the same perks and it was literally across the street. I would recommend staying there to anyone going to Legoland.

The room is basically an old cabin. Staying at this place is more akin to glamping than staying at a hotel. The cabin was extremely humid. It was definitely below the standard I would have expected. And $33 for self parking? Come on.... The one nice thing was you can use the amenities at the other legoland resorts.

We were able to get an early check in and that was fantastic! My kids loved the room and the legos that were available for play. The room did smell very musty and there was a cockroach in the room, but that’s typical for Florida. The breakfast was delicious! We never used the shuttle because the hotel parking pass was accepted at the park so we decided to take our own vehicle back and forth. All in all, it was a good stay for what we needed!

Only one vending machine and sold out of water. Pool closed for too long. Parking not great. But overall good time. We went to the other hotel for activities.

Fue una bonita experiencia. Queda de 8 a 10 min a pie del parque pero igual tienen servicio de bus gratis. Los trabajadores muy atentos sobre todo los del restaurant.

Everything was good except when it rained one night we woke up to a ton of ants in the bathroom

Breakfast was great! The ac wasn’t working well in the rooms at all even after maintenance came. Pool closed at 1 which was disappointing.

The very first thing that happened when we arrived on the property was that the person at the front desk that gave us our room keys and directions to the room she gave us the wrong directions to the room not once, but twice. She even gave us a map that sent us 100% in the wrong direction in fact it was on the other side of the property. Therefore, we unloaded the vehicle the first time and dragged all our stuff to the room that she directed us to and it was the wrong room wrong key wrong everything. We then had to pack all her stuff back into the car drive back up to the front gate where the checking area is and get a new direction with a new key. We then went to the second location and unload it all of our stuff out of the car driving to the room and that one didn't work either. At this point you would think that somebody would have made us considered apology or done some kind of a compensation for us but she did not. She finally gave us the right key with the right room number and we once again had to unpack our stuff and bring it to the room. Don't waste your time with this place. Ànd half the people don't even speak English. If I could give it no stars I would.
