Beautiful historic hotel with a great rooftop terrace. Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable!

Excellent dining and drink options with the most amazing staff. Room's AC unit was very dirty/moldy looking. Also, the room we stayed in, the door stuck and you had to slam it shut in order to close the door, which caused me to cut my hand (nothing that was really serious), just uncomfortable and super inconvenient. When booking at this hotel, it showed we would be getting a shower room, but in fact we got a tub/shower combo, which was not ideal for my almost 78 year old mother, who was my traveling companion. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were lack-luster. Loved, the pebble ice for the room. Was promised a mountain view, but what we got instead, was a view of the municipal building behind the hotel, along with the roof. For as nice as the on-site restaurant was, I was very dissatisfied with the very small selection of "breakfast". Overall, it was a great little town and the hotel had much potential. I think it just fell short of my expectations.

We were in an accessible room that would NOT pass ADA specs. The room was tiny. I could barely get my scooter into the room and there was no where to park it without causing problems walking around the room. You can’t open the drawers of the bedside table on one side because of a chair blocking them. The toilet is too low and the tissue paper holder is in a very bad location beside the toilet. The padded shower chair had rips and had absorbed water which means I wouldn’t use it because of risk of germs. The mattress needs to be replaced. Very disappointing stay. The good thing was our dinner at Graze on Main. Food and service were excellent.

Shower didn’t work properly. No hot water, low water pressure

Beautiful historic property. Comfortable well maintained rooms. Breakfast needs some minor upgrades such as better quality jelly.

I love a historic hotel in a small town. The Bolling Wilson is great. There are several restaurants very close, and the Hotel has a rooftop bar overlooking the town and beautiful sunsets. They also have electric car charging. Two reasons why it did not get 5 stars. One is that the breakfast was mediocre. The other is that dirty towels had been left in the bathroom of our room. However, because the hotel is charming and the staff nice, I would stay again.

The charm & history. The air conditioning unit was noisy and somewhat difficult to set for comfort.
-
Really unique property and the staff were very friendly Wish the rooftop bar was open during our stay

Quaint restoration hotel. Beautiful views from the roof. Friendly staff. Room was nice. Bed was so-so comfort-wise. Nice location across from the museum.

The floors in our could have been cleaner.

The staff is very helpful. The room was clean and had nice grooming products. The breakfast was well prepared…but I miss the biscuits & gravy. We had our dinner in the bar area. The food was delicious as were the adult beverages. I’d love the recipe for the crab hush puppies! So good. We are staying again on our return home in a few weeks
