The location was good for where my plans were. It was good enough to sleep there I didn’t like that the room didn’t have the extra lock on top it was taken off since I was able to see the holes on the door . I didn’t like that the floors were dirty even though they had mopped my feet were dirty so I had to use socks . Also elevators didn’t work I had to use stairs and if I would have been notified in advance I would have booked elsewhere but my payment was already taken out

Friendly staff Not very clean, the room was in disrepair, closet door knob broken major scratches on walls, and ill repaired holes in walls. Makeshift security inside lock not a good inside lock, door had to be slammed to close n lock

Close to where I wanted to be Did not feel or look clean . Had to go buy rusted and did not work well during the night. The sheets looked clean but the room was in need of a paint job and any metal surface was rusted . Made a ton of noise but room was uncomfortable. Staff was nice and the morning coffee was hot.

Room cleaning was great, staff was ok I felt i was double charged for my pet, I paid through booking .Com and still had to pay when I got there for my pet, I would like this looked into, I did get my deposit back from red roof inn, but I feel I am due a refund though booking.com

The employee that checked me in was nice Lock on the door was broken, bathroom door was damaged a the bottom,.air condition rattled all night. Nobodyl cleaned the room. Could've been cleaner

The elevator was broken, the hallways and stairwell, were dirty(was the vacuum broken also?). The room was dirty as well, dirt and cob webs in the restroom corners and by the windows and around the beds. The shower was cleand half way. The only thing clean was the sheets on the bed. The head board was dirt and had smudge marks. They need new cleaning people or need to be taught how to clean properly-Turn on some lights and open the windows when you clean. Just sprayi.g air freshner does not hide the the dirty feet ,sweaty gym room smell.

The room and hotel smelled musty and looked rough
-
Room was clean but the xtra sofa was sunken in the middle, tile on the whirlpool were broken. People walking around the property parking lot all hours at night in the morning.

I spent over 2000 to stay here because I was staying for a while my grandma died and the guy didn’t want to give me my money back. I’m sure it’s dirty just like every other red roof inn . What a waste. They have no sympathy. Money hungry pigs . I spent over 2000 to stay here because I was staying for a while my grandma died and the guy didn’t want to give me my money back. You can sleep here, if that is your only goal.

Location. Run down rooms. Holes in the walls. Dirty hallways.

The staff were very helpful during my stay, particularly Ryan at the front desk. I'm hard of hearing in one ear, and he was very kind and respectful. Unlike most hotels, Red Roof Inn does not charge a crazy pet fee, and that added to the convenience of the trip. A cat showed up on my porch a couple weeks ago. I've been in the process of getting him healthy and was able to bring him along with me. There was a small deposit, and it was returned upon inspection of the room after the stay. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling around the Newport News and Williamsburg area.

What a terrible, old, and dirty hotel—do not book it under any circumstances. The person at the front desk was extremely unpleasant. The other guests looked like homeless people. It is very dangerous and dirty.

The room rate was great. The grounds were unkept. Management was not the most helpful. Room was not clean.
-
The property was dirty… under the bed had trash, the blinds were coated in dirt, the bathroom definitely needs upgraded as well. The shower dripped the entire time.

The customer service was excellent. The individual went out of his way to get me a room on a bottom floor for a handicap person. He was incredibly helpful and very kind. The room was clean, including the hotel amenities very impressed. Thank you for the great da
