The staff was great and very nice. The bed was clean and looked and felt like those at higher end hotels. The shower was new and had great pressure and nice and hot. The only complaint was that kitchenette was outdated and the couch was pretty grungy.

It is a little dated, but I have no complaints with the facilities or staff. It was a convenient and affordable stay.

    Great hotel, price, breakfast, staff.

The Longhorn Inn and Suites is a former Microtel property that shows its age and general lack of care over the course of time. It was fine for my overnight stay while passing through but not much more. There was something of an odor at check-in. The staff was reasonably friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is located near a couple of other properties that appear newer and are national brands that are likely a higher level of service than the Longhorn. My room had two queen beds and showed signs of serious wear and tear. The bedding was in decent condition, but the walls have marks and signs of scrapes, dents, and more. The carpeting in front of the bathroom door was very torn and worn. The doors showed their years of use. The A/C functioned properly, the curtains allowed for both privacy and darkness, and I was able to sleep well. The television worked but the remote was finicky and only allowed the channel to be changed via the up/down buttons and then only when it seemed to want to allow it. Thankfully, I wasn't looking to linger. Check out was fast and efficient and the clerk friendly. While I would possibly consider another overnight stay here, I would likely choose another hotel and pay a little more instead.

It was a late check in so maybe they were out of the renovated rooms because the room we got was seriously in need of updating. Otherwise it was a good stay.

I need to be honest. We used hotels.com to book this overnight stay. We booked it solely because of the price. This property is in desperate need of repair. Everything was dingy. The room was a 3 out of 10. It was as clean as it could be I guess. The hotel was very quiet. That have one set of a washer and dryer. No coffee in the room. They did have a continental breakfast that was actually surprisingly decent. The waffles were excellent and the coffee was good. Would we go back? No.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you’re just needing a place to sleep for a night, Longhorn is fine.

All good! but my keys needed to get reset every day. ?

We made reservations here after leaving a motel 6 in Amarillo because we saw bedbugs. So after that, we had no complaints about this place. It wasn't a luxury hotel but it was clean and convenient and the beds were comfortable. And there were no bugs so that's a big plus!

Clean, good price, good location, good breakfast, friendly staff.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

Price is right! Great if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. Very out dated. Clean but could be cleaner.

This motel is probably one of the best overall values for the money that we have ever stayed in. The price was low, yet the room and overall property were nice! It was a great surprise! Will stay here next time we are in Amarillo.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

It was good for the price, kind of old but clean.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

    Pretty much a full breakfast.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

Room was clean and staff was friendly , Breakfast was not bad

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

Just a quick overnight stay, passing through. Selected via Expedia because they were pet friendly and we were traveling with my mother’s small dog. The rooms were plain but clean. The included breakfast was a continental selection, small but convenient and adequate.
