Travelodge by Wyndham Appleton

Wanted a close place to stay for our early morning flight. Worked out perfectly. Nice rooms. Hot water for tea made my day. Such a convenient place.

The rooms were clean and the beds/pillows were good. We did have breakfast on the Baymont side due to renovations on the Travel Lodge side, so not sure how much that actually affects breakfast. Breakfast at the Baymont provided a variety of options, and fairly standard. The floors were laminate and felt a bit funny, but that might be due to the cleaning solutions they used. Overall, good stay for the price point.

Our second time at this property. The room was spacious, the bathroom also. Walking distance to several restaurants.

Good value

Large room.. large shower. Clean. Lobby had a sugn telling us to check in next door at the Baymont. Coffee machine did not worke wven after i olugged it in. Lamp to left of bed didn't work-discovered it was unplugged. No hangers. No stand for suit case. Unable to enter lobby atea thus unable to access soda machine.

Clean and very reasonably priced Can’t think of anything

Breakfast was good. Everything hot. Hard to find room!

Support staff in different hotel

It is a very quiet hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The location was great since it was close to the airport. It was nice to have restaurants close by as well. The hair drier didn't work.

The check in was a little confusing because the lobby was closed and the check in was in the neighboring motel but the young woman on duty was very accommodating. The breakfast, also in the neighboring complex, was good.

I know there was a tornado in the area a couple weeks earlier. So a lot of construction and contractors in the area. So when you’re up early to go to work. Kindly have respect for the other people who are still sleeping… Staff was great and very friendly and helpful…

Didn't like the cigarette smoke smell that came in our bathroom vents for 3 days. Or the cigarette smoke smell coming in from our air conditioner because the ash tray was right next to our air conditioner. I moved it down a window to the person who was smoking. Had to run the dryer twice on all loads of laundry as well. Daughter ended up sick for 3 days due to the cigarette smoke.

The room was clean and the bathroom with shower was ok. The door fit a bit loose when closed, but stayed closed if the bottom of the door was pushed tight. The pillows were not comfortable. Road noise was present.

We liked that we could turn the A/C system on "fan" mode at night so the unit would not turn on and off all night, making rather a "white noise" which is always helpful.

The bed was very comfortable. bring your own bath soap. very tiny bars. Saturday morning breakfast was delicious! many options. very convenient location for mile of music, just down the road, wouldn't walk it, but easy drive.

Breakfast exceptional Key cards needed adjustment 5 times in 5 days.

Room smelled. There was a tornado, and the hotel did not reach out to guests at all to offer any information or assist.

Nice clean budget stay during Oshkosh.
